Jill Zarin Hospitalized After Multi-Car Accident in NYC

Close call! Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin was briefly hospitalized after being involved in a car crash in New York City on Friday, Oct. 2.

“Jill Zarin was rushed by ambulance to the hospital where she was treated for unknown injuries and later released,” a rep for the reality personality tells Us in a statement. “Zarin is currently at home recuperating and no additional details are available at this time.”

Zarin, 51, was on her way to promote her sci-fi film, Night of the Wild, when the car she and her publicist were riding became involved in a three-car pile-up on the Franklin D. Roosevelt Drive. 

The reality star’s sister, Lisa Wexler, confirmed the news in a tweet.

“My beautiful sis @Jillzarin TODAY at 5:30, thk G-d OK after car crash on FDR,” the talk radio host wrote.

Earlier in the day, Zarin tweeted about her film, which premieres on the Syfy channel on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 9 p.m. EST.

“Just one more day until my movie NIGHT OF THE WILD PREMIERES!” she wrote. “I’ll be tweeting LIVE!”
