Lauren Manzo Celebrates Engagement Party With Fiance Vito Scalia and Real Housewives of New Jersey Family

USmagazine.com:
Brownstone babe! Lauren Manzo celebrated her impending nuptials to fiance Vito Scalia with an engagement party at the family-owned Brownstone restaurant in Paterson, N.J., on Friday, April 4.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was joined by mom Caroline Manzo, dad Albert, brothers Albie and Chris, and over 200 family and friends for the special night, a source tells Us Weekly. Aunt Jaqueline Laurita and Uncle Chris Manzo, and costars Melissa and Joe Gorga, and Kathy and Rich Wakile were also in attendance. Scalia's parents threw the cocktail reception, and a priest was on hand to bless the food for Lent.

At the party, Manzo, 25, showed off an even more slimmed-down figure in a white knee-length Express dress and Jimmy Choo heels. (Us exclusively reported back in June 2012 that the owner of Cafface Beauty Bar dropped 30 pounds after undergoing lap band surgery.)

"If this was the engagement party I'm scared for the wedding #lauren&vito," Caroline, 52, wrote via Facebook. In one sweet snapshot, the bride-to-be posed with her older brothers. "This makes me smile," Albie captioned the photo. Caroline replied: "Makes me happier."

In another photo, Lauren and Scalia posed with a big group of loved ones while her family sat front and center. "No words," she gushed. "[Love] everyone in this picture so much."

The future spouses got engaged after several years of dating back in November 2013. "I'm so incredibly happy!! I'm in shock," Manzo told Us at the time. "I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Well he was my brothers' best friend first, but I stole him!"

  1. Load the whole disgusting Manzo tribe on a garbage barge and sink it in the middle of the ocean!

  2. Looking at the picture I can understand why parents eat their young. I bet the old man wishes he'd worn a rubber on three occasions.
