Larsa Pippen Lands Her Own Reality Show

MiamiNewTimes.com:
Larsa Pippen disappeared from Miami's Real Housewives franchise after its failure of a first season. In Real Housewives of Miami's second season, Pippen and her co-star Christy Rice were replaced by newcomers Lisa Hochstein (of "Boob Palace" fame) and Joanna Krupa (of "fur crotch" fame).

But Larsa's landed on her feet. The WE network announced yesterday that Pippen and her husband, former NBA player Scottie Pippen, will star in their own reality TV show following their lives in Chicago, where they now live.

And before you groan, "Oh great, another Real Housewives spin-off," please consider the pun-tastic title of this new series: Big Pippen.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Big Pippen "revolves around Chicago power couple Larsa and Scottie Pippen. From private jets to designer digs, diamond rings and six NBA championships, the Pippens live a truly charmed life."

"Add in her overbearing family and his clan from Arkansas," the description continues, "and this duo is living life Big Pippen style."

You just know the people at Bravo are thinking, "Big Pippen! Why didn't we think of that?" Ridiculous puns are, after all, the very foundation of a successful reality TV show. (Think Hardcore Pawn, Pawn Stars.)
If the show's theme song includes the phrase "Big Pippen, spendin' Gs," we'll watch the whole damn season.
