Heather Dubrow Slams Tamra Barney's Behavior at Dinner Party from Hell, Defends Brooke Ayers

Wetpaint.com:
Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow thinks Tamra Barney's anger went too far at her party.
"There is no excuse for Tamra's behavior at the height of this party," Heather writes in her Bravo blog. "She definitely was like a nuclear bomb ready to explode. I tried to diffuse her a bit -- but you can see that had mixed results."

However, one person whose behavior Heather did approve of at the party was Lydia McLaughlin's.

"I thought Lydia was a true voice of reason," she says. "If you had been sitting at the dinner, as she was, you could see that everyone was trying to say their point of view. Alexis wasn't allowing it. It's very hard to have a conversation that way, heated or otherwise."

Heather even has some regrets about her own attitude at the party.

"As far as my comment about being medicated for 'rich girl' problems goes, I regret saying that," Heather writes. "Mental health is a serious issue and people go on medications for all kinds of reasons."

"I was just exasperated that this issue from Costa Rica — which had been discussed between Alexis and myself and had moved on from in my opinion — is still the focus of Alexis's dialogue," she adds. "At some point, you need to stop blaming others and take responsibility for your own life and choices you make."

Also, Heather says she has spent plenty of time with Brooks Ayers and hasn't seen any issues with the way he treats Vicki Gunvalson.

"[Brooks] has always been fun, funny, gentlemanly, and appropriate," Heather says. "Terry and I have never witnessed any of the behavior that Ryan was talking about."

  1. Heather's blog is a joke. She is getting PUMMELED and BURIED for her obvious double standards on the issue of bullying. Heather questions Alexis' decision to come back for season 8, but in the end, it's gonna be Heather that'll end up wishing she never signed on for the show. The majority of RHOC viewers are clearly supporting Alexis.

  2. As irritated as Heather has been whenever Alexis is mentioned this season makes me wonder what happened off camera before they started filming. I remember that Alexis quit the show, maybe Heather had lined someone up to replace her, and when Alexis decided to return it really ticked her off?
Predictible Tamrat it just an insecure, self-absorbed wench and sadly, this season, Gretchen is one of her minions, but Heather, I don't know, I think it takes a lot to really tick her off.
