The Season 5 Reunion of The Real Housewives of New York hasn’t even aired yet, but everyone’s already buzzing about Season 6. “Right now it’s unclear if a new woman or new women will be replacing the current Housewives or will be added to the existing group,” a source affiliated with the show tells us. “But the feelers are definitely out there.”
Unfortunately there is always a chance that a Housewife might get booted in favor of a new face. (As Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon, and Cindy Barshop all learned after Season 4.)
Our source pointed out that he seating arrangement on the upcoming reunion might hint at which Housewives are on the chopping block. “It’s Ramona, Sonja and Luann on one side, then Aviva, Carole and Heather on the other,” one source explains. “Ramona Singer and Aviva Drescher are closest to Andy Cohen, while LuAnn de Lesseps is on the end. Everyone knows Andy seats the women who bring the most drama next to him and the ones who have the least going on sit farther away.” Indeed, it’s a topic Andy himself broaches in his book, Most Talkative.
Seating chart aside, however, a second source says LuAnn simply may be out of storylines. “She’s happy and in love and it’s fantastic,” the second source explains. “But there’s not a lot of tension going on, which is what the show needs. They tried the baby angle this season, but viewers didn’t seem that into it.”
The Real Housewives of New York Season 5 Reunion airs on Monday, October 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

ReplyDeleteRamona's eyes are weird... Yes!! Bring some one new. All she does is promote her wine over and over and reminds me of a hyena spouting her attack mode. ( Her mouth is a lot like a hyena ) ... and those eyes... are they prosthetic? ( scary ) Send Ramona away in a forever vacation.

ReplyDeleteAt least this reunion was civil and entertaining to watch. The contrast with RHONJ was night and day. ALL the Jersey women should feel ashamed and embarrassed by their behavior, that really was a classless spectacle.
