Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice's friendship is officially over.
While taping the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special at Atlantic City's Borgata hotel September 7, the costars grew even further apart when cookbook author Giudice, 40, accused her ex-BFF, 41, of hiding her own Las Vegas stripper past, a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly. (Giudice had recently devised a scheme to convince the public her sister-in-law, singer Melissa Gorga, 33, was a stripper.)
Giudice's jab came just a month after Laurita revealed that her son, Nicholas, 3, had been diagnosed with autism. (Laurita is also mom to Ashley, 22, and Christopher, 10.)
"Jacqueline goes crazy on Teresa and everyone sides with her," says a source. "Even [host Andy Cohen, 44] seems disgusted Teresa goes there. She's going through a hard time with her son, and it just below the belt."
Giudice -- mom to Gia, 11, Gabriella, 7, Milania, 6, and Audriana, 3 -- also lashed out at cousin Kathy Wakile, saying she's heard her marriage of 21 years is on the rocks. (A source denies Giudice's claim, telling Us Kathy, 47, and her husband, Rich, 48, "are attached at the hip.")

After watching the reunion part 1, I finally got the clarity on my suspicion about the Giudice, Gorga, Wakile families. They can't stand each other and probably never have gotten along! There is so much hatred, gossip and jealousy in the history of this family that dates back to who knows when. When Kathy (wow, did she show her true self) went off about Teresa's parents I think we saw how far back this dysfunction really goes. They all talk about how family is so important and how they love each other and want to get along but there is clear long harbored resentment. How sad. This is not a loving family at all. No wonder things blew up over such silly nonsense. Teresa didn't destroy the family, neither did Melissa. That work was probably done when they were still in diapers. Just an aside: I can't believe how grown women can go ape-sh*t crazy because someone mentions their parents in a negative light. These people have never grown up.

DeleteThe only housewife that has any common decency is Melissa. She didn't say much and refrained from most of the name calling and cursing. Caroline tries to talk for everyone and stirs hatred against Teresa by saying that Teresa has said hurtful things about everyone in her family. Kathy's mouth was a shock cursing about Teresa's parents and then Rosie starts in on Teresa when Kathy started it. The whole bunch, except Melissa, should be embarrassed by their behavior. I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when this show ended. I pity these people!

I could not handle so many women just ganging up on me. Simply, ugh! This show needs to serious recast. It needs to be fun again. This entire season was just nauseating.

ReplyDeleteAll of the housewife shows have digressed into brutal, hand-to-hand mortal combat. Does anyone remember the first season of the RHOC? It was a nice fluff show that had the right amount of cattiness to make it interesting but not vulgar, not anymore. Yes, the ladies are willing participants, but the real culprits are the producers who encourage and facilitate the drama. Why do they do this? Because that's what we the viewers want to see. After last nights debacle, they'll have one less viewer. On a side note, Kathy's sister needs to be sedated and committed for psychiatric evaluation, that was scary!
