Following a huge cast shakeup on the Real Housewives of New York, Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps were the only original gals still standing. And although they miss their old cast mates, Ramona reveals “the show must go on.”RELATED: Countess LuAnn de Lesseps Dishes on Her Holiday Plans and Missing Her Old Real Housewives of New York Co-Stars
So how are the new ladies — Carole Radziwill, a distant relative of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, fashion designer Heather Thomson and Wall Street wife Aviva Drescher — fitting in? Well, Ramona promises some HUGE fights.
“Do I miss the other girls? Sure. But this upcoming season is a whole new experience. We’re all friends, but there will be drama!” she revealed to Celebuzz.
Back in September, Bravo confirmed that the NY Housewives would be losing Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and Alex McCord.
Although Bravo is trying to keep the fifth season under wraps, photographers caught she and Sonja Morgan filming in Miami a few weeks ago. Ramona stayed pretty mum about their antics, only saying, “We had a wonderful time.” But she hinted that the Housewives will be taking “a lot of trips and traveling outside the city.”
With a new season (and the New Year) coming up, Ramona reveals she’s hoping to kick one bad habit: stressing out about the little things.
“I want to learn to not work so much and be less stressed,” she told Celebuzz at Life & Style‘s 2011 holiday party. “I’m starting to see that my daughter Avery is catching onto that and worrying about all the little things. I’m always telling her, ‘Don’t stress. Don’t be like me.’”
Of course, her husband Mario is a little more realistic, saying her resolution will “probably only last a week into the New Year.”
“He’s probably right,” the reality star coyly admitted. “I’m trying to balance family, personal time and being a successful business woman… I need to realize I don’t have to be perfect at it all. Stressing out isn’t worth it.”
