The Real Housewives of Orange County star sat down with E! News to preview the road ahead as season 10 begins to wind down—and it's safe to say that her recent tension with Vicki Gunvalson isn't going away. In fact, it's only going to get worse.
"I'm just gonna say, 'Shannon vs. Vicki.' That pretty much describes the finale to me," Shannon told us ahead of the Monday, Sept. 21 episode. "And it's not something that I'm excited about. It's not something that should've happened."
What happens between the former Aries pals?
Fractures in the ladies' friendship began to show on Monday night's episode when Shannon joined the chorus of voices questioning the legitimacy of Vicki's boyfriend Brooks Ayers' cancer diagnosis, something that didn't sit well with the O.G. of the O.C. "My friendship is being questioned by Vicki and I am loyal to a T," Shannon said. "When you're my friend, you're my friend for life. It's just that there were so many different, inconsistent stories."
Shannon said leading into the filming of the reunion special, she and her former BFF have hardly spoken—and that's the way she wants it. "What's best for me with what I'm dealing with in my life…is I go dark. I don't need all this stuff in my life. I don't need all this added drama that makes no sense to me so I just shut it down," she revealed. "There's no need for me to talk to her if I'm going to keep getting accused of not being a good friend and drinking the Kool-Aid...What kind of Kool-Aid is that? I don't get that." Yikes!
