Im not on "Team Teresa", but if these alleged statements of his alcoholism is true that can explain for some of her actions. Usually alcoholics often put blame on the closest ones to them for bizre reasons because it is all in there head. I find Teresa to be very unpleasant, yet she does love her brother and her children, and of course her husband. I dont think it is a secret Joe has other women in his life, he just hasn';t got caught.Most women in this situation try to fix it all by themselves, and defend there spouse in a sense of denial. It is a very sad disease brought out by another disease called "alcoholism" Just sayin!
