Bravo officials announced earlier this week that it is developing a new series for the 52-year-old British reality star called "SUR," which centers around a Los Angeles restaurant and lounge by the same name that she co-owns with her husband, Ken Todd. The cable network airs the hit "Real Housewives" franchise and Vanderpump is the first cast member of its "Beverly Hills" edition to receive a show of her own.
"That's very exciting - the fact that I've been given a spin-off by Bravo. I think it's very exciting going forward, so we'll see," she told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the opening of another Los Angeles restaurant, Planet Dailies, on Thursday, April 5, holding her dog Giggy.
She also added about "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills": "We still don't know about season 3 - the jury's still out on that."
Bravo has not made an official announcement about the future of the show, whose season 2 finale aired in February. Unconfirmed reports say most of the remaing cast members, including Vanderpump, are expected to return.
