"We're amicably resolving this marriage," the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday. "We're resolving this marriage ... resolving to dissolve, yes," she added.
As if to prove the amicability of their relationship, Parks, 43, noted that she speaks to her ex "at least five, six times a week, if not more."
The couple have two children together – Dylan, 1, and Ayden, 4. While Dylan is "too young" to understand that his father is away in Kentucky serving an eight-year sentence for fraud, Dylan is "definitely very aware," Parks said. "It's very tough for a 4-year-old."
However, the kids are "definitely in contact" with their father, she added.
Though this is the first time that Parks has confirmed that she and Nida are arranging their divorce following five years of marriage, RHOA fans know that the relationship has been strained. Parks did not show up for Nida's sentencing, and he accused her of abandoning him.
Nida even hired an attorney to divorce Parks before she could divorce him – "I despise everything about her, but I still love her," he said.
