Kenya Moore Gives Her Side of the Eviction Story

Yahoo.com:
The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is on hiatus, but the soap opera of Kenya Moore's life continues.

On Thursday, the former Miss USA called into "The Wendy Williams Show" to talk about being evicted from her residence in Roswell, Georgia, outside Atlanta.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a Fulton County judge ruled against Moore, and in favor of her landlord, Conya Dillon, on Tuesday, after neither Moore nor her lawyer appeared in court. Dillon had claimed that the 42-year-old reality star didn't pay $848 of the $3,999 she pays each month in rent.

When Moore spoke with Williams via phone — true to "Housewife" form — she brought the drama.

"First of all, we never got notice of court date, so that's going to be overturned and we will have another court date," Moore said defiantly. "It isn't over until the fat lady sings."

"Secondly," she added, "This is absolutely absurd. I've paid this woman nearly $52,000 in rent and she has a $6,000 security deposit of mine. I have paid her May rent and paid her June, and my lease is up in three weeks. So this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous."

Moore was sassy as usual when she explained her theory of why she's on the landlady's bad side.

"I don't know if it's necessarily so personal, but the key is Wendy — now, it gets a little complicated — but she's taking her ex-husband back to court, and I can't help it if I live a fabulous life and she can no longer afford to be in the house."
