Wrapped in a hospital gown, the 51-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star smiled and shared her story. "Until you are broken you don't really know what you're made of," she wrote.

Foster is a proud mother and wife and has spoken often of the strength her family gives her as she fights her dreadful diagnosis. She shared a photo of her with her young daughter and said, "While we try to teach our children all about life, they really teach us what life is all about."
