Recently, Lea took time out of her busy schedule with the 2013 Blacks Annual Gala (HERE) to share some exciting news about RHOM. In RHOM season 2, fans watched as Lea prepared for and delivered an impressive Gala. But what is going on behind the scenes this year?
LALATE asked Lea “Last season on Real Housewives of Miami, viewers watched you go through the preparations for that year’s Blacks Annual Gala. With this year’s Gala now less than two months away (on April 13), how are you feeling compared to last year? Excited? Anxious?” Lea tells LALATE “I am feeling a bit of pressure because I have been so busy with my new skincare line Lea Black Skincare (HERE) that we got a late start and didn’t secure the talent until about a week ago. But, as always, we will make it happen.”
As previously detailed in LALATE’s exclusive interview with Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney, Bravo’s Housewives major filming is typically completed at least six months prior to debut. So could RHOM be coming back to Bravo soon?
LALATE asked Lea “Of course, I have to ask, but may not get an answer, is there going to be a third season of Real Housewives of Miami and can you tell us about any cast changes?” Lea says “I heard there may be a third season and I wish I was the casting agent – have a few ideas! Ha. But that’s way above my pay grade. Stay tuned.”
Perhaps the next stop for Bravo cameras would be the Gala. “Will Bravo be filming [for RHOM] at the Gala on April 13, 2013?” Lea replies “Well. I’m not the producer , so it’s not my decision, but I won’t be surprised if they do.”
Last November, Lea announced news of her expanding lifestyle brands, Lea Black Handbags (HERE) and Lea Black Home (HERE). Both collections are a reflection of Black’s signature timeless style and designed to “inject a shot of glamour into your wardrobe and home.”
With the new year, Lea Black Handbags is still expanding, offering stunning contemporary and luxury collections. The contemporary collection features bags made with Czechoslovakian crystals while the luxury collection features Swarovski crystals. Colors can range from classic black to hot pink, Lea tells news.
As if you love Lea’s home on the show, now she is hoping to infuse that touch of elegance into your own home as well. Lea Black Home “features a line of cheeky pillows made of suede and satin finish that includes signature Lea Black tassels and quotes, such as her Real Housewives of Miami tagline “I can deal with a lot of things, but I can’t deal with stupid” and “I care about a lot of things… what people think about me isn’t one of them”.
Lea Black looks so old. Her hands tell it all. We are so sick and tired of her. Every picture she takes and posts looks like a different person, talk about touch ups. What a phony interview. She is copying Lisa from the Beverly Hills group by posing with her leg lifted up in her pose, she stole the name Little Black Book from Lea Wait, she copied Andre Walker's website called "The world of Andre Walker", 4 failed marriages, her previous lover Al Perkins died at her home and his family said she did not even come home. She took all of his money and gave the family nothing. What is wrong with a person like this. She is a common social climber who is what 62 years old and still trying to scratch her way to the top. She skims off her own charity Pays her employees from the charity and then they work for her other loser businesses, the list goes on and on. Why buy a skin care line she had 20 years ago. She is not an expert in skin care. She has plastic surgery, botox, and whatever else is available trying to look younger. Beauty is skin deep and she is getting uglier by the day.
ReplyDeleteWhy would we want to support a woman who claims to be so rich and famous and is one of the meanest people we know. She is not the queen of Miami, she is a legend in her own mind. She is the Queen of Mean!
On Lea Black interview with LaLate the first line of questioning once again is how she met her husband. Let's not forget that she sat on the Kennedy Smith trial jury, set her eyes on Roy Black, got him a not guilty verdict, let a rapist go free, dumped her lover Al Perkins and married the rich lawyer and sealed it with a son.
ReplyDeleteThat will haunt her the rest of her life. Just like her husband representing John Goodman, the man who left an innocent young man to die after he crashed into the young man's car. Murderer. We will never forget how the Blacks continue to defend this man. They have no real friends only the criminals her husband represents. Sad people!
