Caroline Manzo Deposed In Lawsuit Filed By Danielle Staub's Ex-Husband
Try, try, try as hard as Caroline has to stay out of Danielle drama and they just keep pushing her back in:
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo has been deposed in a $5 million defamation lawsuit filed against Danielle Staub by Staub's ex-husband Kevin Maher.
“Caroline Manzo saw Danielle Staub for who she truly is right off the bat and never gave Danielle the opportunity to hurt her like the rest of the housewives did,” Maher says via email, “therefore we felt that Caroline’s testimony would be impartial and the most valued in these proceedings.”
Maher sued Staub last year after his ex-wife told media outlets that Maher raped her and continually beat her, which Maher has denied. Her relationship to Maher and her criminal past came out during the show’s first season, when Manzo dug up a copy of “Cop Without a Badge,” about Maher’s journey from ex-con to confidential informant; his relationship with Staub, whom he describes as a "coke whore," is a small but very entertaining part of the book.
Teresa Giudice;s Auction Goes Global
The world may soon get the chance to live like a “Real Housewife.”
We recently wrote about the upcoming auction involving “Real Housewives of New Jersey” personalities Teresa and Joe Giudice: The contents of their lavish 10,000-square-foot New Jersey mansion are scheduled for auction on Aug. 22.
It was originally a local affair. Auction house A.J. Willner says it received so many inquiries from around the world, it decided to add an online component.
Potential bidders can register at Proxibid, a website that does as many as 800 auctions a month and reports bidders from 175 countries. (Zimbabwe hasn’t been active lately.) Items involving celebrities - or, in this case, reality-TV personalities - can command a premium, says Bruce Hoberman, Proxibid’s president. A $750 silk Mets jacket once owned by convicted Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff commanded $14,500 in November.
In this case, it is unclear exactly what will be up for grabs. The Giudices, who filed for bankruptcy protection, formally objected to the auction, says Mike Sklar, a partner with A.J. Willner. A hearing is planned Aug. 16. The couple-who could not be reached because their phone is disconnected–says some of the items scheduled for auction were purchased after the bankruptcy petition, while others belong to relatives, Mr. Sklar says. Such objections are typical, he adds.
If a judge allows the auction to proceed, Mr. Sklar says he’ll rush to inventory the Towaco, N.J., mansion and what’s left of its fancy contents. Items possibly up for grabs include a grand piano–expected to be popular –a suit of armor, snow plow and foosball table.

Kim Zolciak Dating Atlanta Falcon DE Kroy Biermann
Kroy Biermann is a 24-year old defense end for the Atlanta Falcons with seven sacks over his first two seasons.
Not shabby, but not impressive enough to get the young NFL player noticed across the Internet.
That could at least explain why Biermann has taken the arm of 32-year old Kim Zolciak. According to In Touch Weekly, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member has been dating the professional baller for about two months.
A source says the pair attended thewedding of Zolciak's co-star, Cynthia Bailey, on Saturday, and were spotted “laughing, kissing and have a great time together.”
Dude better get a lock box for that wallet. More importantly, does this mean it's finally over with Big Poppa?
Kim Granetell Calls Danielle Staub's Lesbian Relationship A "Publicity Stunt"
Controversial Real Housewives of New Jersey wannabe, Kim G., is stirring the pot once again - this time calling out her one-time BFF Danielle Staub on her rumored lesbian relationship, RadarOnline.com exclusively reveals.
“My take is that it’s a whole publicity stunt,” Kim told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview, and she’s not alone in her opinion. “Friends of mine and people I talk to think it’s all for publicity.”
Danielle revealed her rumored new relationship with “girlfriend” Lori Michaels when she debuted her first single Real Close on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live in June. The Housewife that everyone loves to hate hasn’t confirmed that they are a couple, but quickly took to her Twitter and wrote “bless my gf Lori Michaels.”Despite Danielle’s ‘Look at me’ lesbian move, she’s never hit on former gal pal, Kim.
Listen, we all know Kim G's vying hard for Dina's spot on RHONJ but really now, is there a straight man on the planet who isn't relieved by Danielle switching teams? Let it go already.“A couple of people have asked me in the past, ‘Has she come on to you yet?’ but no, she hasn’t,” she revealed.
Dina Manzo Returns To RHONJ
Not having Dina on RHONJ does seem weird and what with big sister Caroline steering clear of Danielle (the entire season so far), I don't see why Dina can't. But then I'm still bothered by husband Tommy's refusal to come on at all and we all miss Lexi, but all in all it'll be nice to see Dina again and in this case it certainly makes sense. Two months after leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dina ManzoUsMagazine.com has your first peek. returns to the show Monday -- and
Manzo, 39 -- who first told Us Weekly that she quit the Bravo show because of castmate Danielle Staub -- steps back in front of the camera to attend the christening of pal Teresa Giudice's daughter, 10-month-old Audriana (Manzo is the girl's godmother).
"The role as Audriana's godmother is to guide her religiously and spiritually," says Manzo. "For me to do that is so special."
Manzo comes bearing gifts -- including a pair of pricey Gucci shoes for the baby.

Lisa Wu Hartwell Leaving "Real Housewives of Atlanta"
BV Buzz can report exclusively that 'Real Housewives of ATL' star Lisa Wu Hartwell is leaving the hit Bravo reality series.
Speculation that the originating cast member from the 'ATL' franchise was leaving the show began earlier this spring when talk that she was only shooting on a limited production schedule surfaced online.
Now BV Buzz has learned that the 38-year-old real estate mogul, who is currently married to retired NFL star Ed Hartwell, parted with Bravo "amicably" over "creative differences."
"They basically wanted to script elements of Lisa's life and make her amp up the drama. She wasn't with that at all. Lisa felt like if her real life alone wasn't enough for the network, then maybe it was time for her to go," a source close the production told BV Buzz.
Hartwell, the ex-wife of R&B singer Keith Sweat, will be featured on "as many as three" episodes of the new season; however she will not be featured in the season three photos and opening visuals.
Well this is a surprise, unlike Dina Manzo I don't think anyone had a clue that Lisa was unhappy with 'Housewives'. Plus, I always liked Lisa, she brought an air of sanity and realness to the Atlanta series and who can forget the episodes dealing with her brother's death or how she got in Kim Zolciak's ass at the season 1 reunion show? Tho we never got to see Lisa's kids with singer Keith Sweat, Lisa and Ed made for a great couple and I enjoyed watching them esp. while Ed dealt with his decision to retire from the NFL. Lisa Wu will be missed.
Michaele Salahi Surprised By Focus On Crashing Case
Ummm, isn't the goal of crashing a White House dinner to get attention? And it's not like the Salahi's haven't been milking every ounce of their infamous gatecrashing ways--and now they want to pretend like they don't understand what all the fuss was about? Funny.Michaele Salahi is ready to move on. She's sure the president is, too, because he's joked about her and her husband's infamous gatecrashing episode. And so she thinks the judicial system should be ready to move on, as well.
"To be honest, I don't know where it's at," she told The Associated Press Monday of the criminal investigation by a federal grand jury, which still could lead to prison time for the party-going, polo-loving couple from Virginia wine country. "But our attorneys have said to go on with our lives."
"And if the president and vice president are joking about it," she added, "I think they're ready to move forward, too."
Certainly the Salahis are taking their attorneys' advice.
Far from staying quietly out of the spotlight, they are happily promoting the Aug. 5 debut of Bravo's "Real Housewives of D.C.," in which, judging from the first episode, Michaele takes center stage — along with the incident that got her into trouble. (A teaser for a later episode shows Salahi in a limo in her famous red sari, speaking excitedly into a cell phone, apparently about the state dinner she is about to, well, crash.)
"I can't wait!" Salahi said in a telephone interview Monday. "This is full circle for me. I think the world will see that we're not just about that one night. We're not just two people who went to a dinner."
In fact, all these months later, Salahi professes still not to understand why so much attention was paid to that one incident last November. "It must have been a slow news week," she said.

Teresa Giudice's Belongings Up For Auction
Teresa Giudice said she and her husband had filed for bankruptcy last October to get "a fresh start" but now they'll have to watch their personal belongings get sold at auction.
In June, a trustee for their bankruptcy case alleged in court documents that the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star and her husband Joe had hidden assets, including profits from her book Skinny Italian and his stake in a pizzeria, which was also featured on the Bravo show.
The trustee, John Sywilok, also accused the pair of undervaluing items listed as personal property exempt from the bankruptcy filing, including a pool table ($1000) and even their wedding bands ($400).
Now, those items will be going up at auction on August 22 at 12 p.m. (EST) at their Towaco, New Jersey, mansion.
An auction Web site with information on the listing details and depicts the various items that will be for sale, including a Schaefer & Sons grand piano, two flat-screen TVs, several ornate chairs and sofas, a large ceramic urn, decorative fireplace accessories, a foosball table, a faux marble chess set, a suit of armor and at least three chandeliers.
A Sea-Doo Bombardier X20 Jet Boat and a snow plow are also listed among the items set to be auctioned off.
Reached by PEOPLE last week, an attorney for the Giudices, Jim Kridel, said he hoped an auction wouldn't take place, and also said the couple had not mislead the court about their assets at the time of their bankruptcy filing.
All said I'm a little surprised at how well the Giudice's are handling this drama in their lives (esp. considering all the notoriety it's gotten). One thing I respect about them is the love they seem to genuinely have for each other. After all it's well documented that financial difficulties are the No. 1 cause for divorce so it's my hope that the Giudice's can get through this together and more importantly learn from their mistakes and be more responsible with their finances--the future of their daughters depends on it.

Neal B Interviews Alex McCord & Simon van Kempen
Alex McCord & Simon van Kempen (The Real Housewives of New York) book-signing of "Little Kids, Big City"
Crazy Kelly Bensimon Talks Safe Sex, Wanting Her Own Show
She just refuses to go away and yeah is it just a coincidence that she wants something Bethenny already has:
Kelly Bensimon sat down and gave an indepth interview with Out Magazine. This Real Housewife of New York City dished on her work on safe sex education, the trials and tribulations of the third season of the Real Housewives and her new semi secret show! Out asked Kelly about her persona on the Real Housewives, asking if her reactions were all real. She answered, “my reactions are incredibly authentic, but it’s like being in a bad improv class. I’m responding to something that I wouldn’t necessarily respond to but because I am getting paid I have to respond to it. Is it a normal occurrence to me? I would never engage in fighting. It’s really not my game and I don’t find it interesting and I don’t find it evocative. I mean I find incredibly creative people evocative. I find architects evocative. I find amazing artists evocative. Do I find fighting with someone I don’t know evocative? Not really. Does it make great TV? Absolutely.”
When broaching the subject about a Kelly Bensimon show, Out asked if she was interested in having her own show, she replied, “It’s funny that you ask that because my kids were saying that the other day. They are like, “We want to have your own show. People need to see who Kelly Bensimon really is.” The one reason I would like to do my own show is because I am exposed to so many unbelievable people and so I would use my show as a vehicle to explore all these different people that I know, whether it would be Richard Meier to the man that helps me with my computers.” She continued to say that, “Would it be necessarily about Kelly Killoren Bensimon? It’s never really about me. It’s always about the other people because that’s what I find interesting. I don’t really find what I do really interesting.”
Her new show, which she isn’t divulging much about, has one big gimmick. It’s a live stream of her in her “office” which viewers can log on and see her “at work” anytime through the day. She said, “I am really excited about it. I am nervous because what if I look like crap or something, but I mean apart from that [laughs]… I guess the vanity part, but that’s it. I would love for people to see watch me make mistakes — I would love it.”

Lauri Waring's Kid Arrested Again
One day there will be a story about Josh Waring from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" that does NOT involve him getting arrested.
This is not that day.
TMZ has learned Waring was picked up in Irvine on Friday night on a warrant for a probation violation.
Waring was also busted in June 2008 (possession of heroin and ecstasy and intent to sell), July 2009 (possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia), and April 2010 (battery on a spouse or significant other and false imprisonment, both misdemeanors).
He is currently being held without bail and is set to face a judge on Tuesday.
Clearly this kid needs to go on Dr. Drew.

Teresa Guidice To Have Bankrupcy Garage Sale
It's come to this.As if being $11 million in debt isn't bad enough, the "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" embattled star Teresa Giudice is now in an even deeper financial hole.
And most embarrassing, there's going to be a public auction of her personal stuff -- furniture, a boat, that pool table, etc., etc. -- held at her house next month, which should lead to must-see TV for "Real Housewives" fans.
The trustee on her bankruptcy case claims she and her husband Joe have (shock) hidden personal assets. John Sywilok, whose job is to assess the Giudices' assets and distribute the proceeds to creditors, first claimed the couple didn't list profits from several businesses, including a laundromat, her Fabulicious clothing and accessory company, a pizza parlor and her cookbook, "Skinny Italian."
According to The Wall Street Journal, the Giudices are also accused of undervaluing personal items such as a pool table ($1,000), wedding bands ($400) and living room furniture ($2,000).
But according to People, the Giudice's attrorney, Jim Kridel, says the couple did not hide sources of income. "The contract for Teresa's book was signed after the bankruptcy petition was filed, and all money was received post petition," he says.
Danielle Staub's Scandalous Past Becoming A TV Show
Just about everyone has heard about ‘Housewife’ Danielle Staub’s past, but now it may be portrayed in a television series.
The show would be based on the infamous book ‘Cop Without a Badge’ and is allegedly being pushed along by former ‘Law & Order’ writer David Black, reports The Hollywood Gossip. The book includes information about Staub’s history of cocaine use and other dirty details.
It is reported that the series would focus on Kevin Maher who was an undercover informant for the FBI and dated Staub during this time.

Bethenny Frankel: Motherhood Is "Magical"
Bethenny Frankel calls motherhood "magical" -- and not just because she was able to drop her baby weight in three weeks to fit in a size-4 swimsuit.
"It's pure love," the Real Housewives of New York star, 39, gushed to UsMagazine.com at the opening of the East Harlem Target Tuesday night. "It's a great, neat thing. It's really love at first sight."
Frankel says she hasn't gotten into a routine with daughter Bryn, whom she welcomed on May 8.
"Babies, they're not much for a routine. It's not like a mechanical doll. It's a baby. If she hasn't pooped in two days and I have to stick a Q-Tipp up her butt, it's not a routine. What are you going to do? Not to give too much information, but that's what happened."
Bryn's recent milestones include "smiling and pulling my hair," Frankel says. "I like to think it's her showing me she needs me, but I'm sure it's just her hanging on!"
Cynthia Bailey Getting Married Saturday
Nobody knows yet if new “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Cynthia Bailey is a keeper in terms of reality show appeal.
But, hey, at least she’s getting married – unlike many of the existing cast mates.
Her publicist Tolu Okunowo at Good Buzz Public Relations sent out this breathless release just moments ago:
Model Cynthia Bailey, one of the newest cast members of Bravo’s hit reality television show The Real Housewives of Atlanta, will walk down the aisle tomorrow night right here in Atlanta and the wedding ceremony and reception will be filmed for the upcoming third season of the hit series. Invited guests include all the current Atlanta housewives and the other new cast member for this upcoming season; actor Leon Robinson from “The Five Heartbeats” fame; R & B star Brandon Hines and a host of other celebrities. Lucky invited wedding guests can expect a lot of surprise performances by all of the celebrities at the reception. And, of course, with NeNe, Kandi, Lisa and Sheree there, those wedding guests will probably get a little bit of drama too!
Bravo has yet to set a launch date for season three but presumably it will be sometime this fall after the D.C. version is finished.
She’s marrying Peter Thomas, a local Atlanta restaurateur.
My guess is that Cynthia won't be getting her own "Cynthia's Getting Married" show anytime soon, but oh well and congrats anyway.
Gretchen Rossi Performs "Nothing Without You"
Real Housewives of Orange County, Gretchen Rossi performs live her new single "Nothing without You" as she opens for Pussy Cat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger.Geez, what 'Housewife' isn't singing now?
Other RHODC Castmates Insist: It's 'Not All About The Salahis'
White House party crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi are not the stars of Bravo's upcoming "The Real Housewives of D.C.," and their White House-partying ways are, in fact, "one small snippet" of the first season, two of the non-Michaele cast members said Thursday with all the certainty of people who have not yet seen any of the episodes.
The "one small snippet" line was Mary Schmidt Amons's. She's the wealthy granddaughter of '50s broadcaster Arthur Godfrey-cum-McLean mother of five. She's the one you're going to see in the first episode telling Stacie Scott Turner -- a real estate agent and the show's only African American cast member -- that Washington hair salons "need to integrate" because "we have different hair, different needs, but why do we need to be in different salons?"
On a conference call with The Reporters Who Cover Television, Amons wanted to make sure everyone understood that the show "is not all about the Salahis."
"We spent five months together, and we spent a lot of time sharing our stories, and I think that the American public is going to be really interested and inspired by our stories," Amons said, sounding very much like someone who's none too happy about having been upstaged by Michaele Salahi.
"I think viewers are going to be so surprised to find out the White House party crash is not the crescendo of the show," noted Turner, who was the other housewife on the call.
I have to admit that I'm not all that excited about watching RHODC only because I've already had enough of the 'famewhores' that are Michaele and Tareq Salahi what with all the attention the White House party-crashers have already gotten from the press. Therefore I hope that the other women do have interesting stories of their own, enough to keep viewers watching anyway, but so far none of them have created enough buzz about themselves for me to notice.

Teresa Guidice May Now Be Facing Jail Time
Life is not looking to good for one of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" right now. According to a new report, a Chapter 7 trustee is currently looking into whether or not Teresa Guidice committed perjury by failing to declare stakes she and her husband own in a pizza parlor, a laundromat, and a clothing company -- she also did not fully disclose profits from a book.
With these charges could come jail time, unless this somehow gets sorted out early.
Guidice is not the only "Real Housewife" facing some trouble with the courts -- Danielle Staub is currently the defendent in a lawsuit filed by an ex over her controversial sex tape.
Are we seeing the end of some of Bravo's most popular housewives? Only time will tell if these ladies are able to sort out some of their many problems.
I hope this stuff works itself out because I can't see Teresa being able to handle prison.

Danielle Staub Calls Cops After Ex-con Danny Aguilar Demands $100K From Her
This week just keeps getting worse for "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub.
Less than a week after Staub's sex tape co-star slammed her with a defamation lawsuit, the reality star's sordid past has come back to haunt her.
Convicted felon Danny Aguilar called Staub on Sunday night demanding $100,000 that he says she still owes him for bailing her out of a drug deal gone bad back in the '80s, reported RadarOnline.com.
"My money got her out of trouble with these drug dealers," Aguilar told Radar. "They wanted her dead and I didn't want them to kill her. I paid for it."
According to TheSmokingGun.com, Staub and Aguilar found themselves out around $24,000 in 1986 after an alleged cocaine deal went awry. The two reportedly kidnapped the man they blamed for the deal's failure, Carmen Centolella, and placed calls to his father demanding $25,000 in ransom money.
Feds soon caught the partners in crime and accused Staub of extortion and cocaine possession with intent to distribute, the Web site reported.
Staub reportedly entered into a plea bargain with prosecutors and agreed to testify against Aguilar and others.
You just knew Danielle's "relationship" with this guy was going to come back to haunt her.
StyleSpot Interviews Paul Wharton: "6th Real Housewife of DC"
This city may snooze in the depths of summer, but reality TV never sleeps.
During a week when our dance card had dried up, we got a last-minute invitation to a cocktail fundraiser for MenzFit, a nonprofit that gets struggling fellows into proper suits to compete in the job market. And, as with so many invitations lately, the grim warning was: "This event will be filmed for TV."
The cameras were there all right, on the rooftop of the Donovan House hotel Thursday, circling one partygoer in particular. Paul Wharton, a local stylist and occasional TV personality (VH1, CW), hasn't been highlighted in the promos for "Real Housewives of D.C.," but he's poised to emerge as the unofficial "sixth Housewife." The flat-ironed, high-cheekboned fashionista is all over the premiere, debuting next month -- cackling as Lynda Erkiletian declares Michaele Salahi to be anorexic, then telling Michaele what Lynda said. Fun! And Thursday, a camera (labeled "HYP" -- for "Housewives" producer Half Yard Productions?) rolled on around him . . .
Now wait: It's too late for the first season of D.C. "Housewives," and too soon to shoot a second season. . . . Do we smell spinoff? Will the madness never end? We pried Wharton (pinstriped skinny pants, pointy shoes) from his frenetic airkissing. "I am in the business of TV, and D.C. is the place to be these days," he told us cryptically. "I've found a great partner in Half Yard . . . and the rest you'll have to see.".

Bethenny Frankel: 'I'm Really Done With Housewives'
Bethenny Frankel has suggested that she is "really done" with Real Housewives Of New York City.
The reality star - who has her own spinoff show Bethenny Getting Married? - was asked by Fox & Friends whether she will be returning to the Bravo franchise.
"Given the cast and the way that it was, I really think I'm done," she replied. "There's no reason... We beat it to death. We laughed, we cried, we cursed each other out and it's over."
The new mother - who married husband Jason Hoppy in March - was also asked whether her solo reality show had caused friction among the rest of the cast.
"There was definitely friction. It was like the elephant in the room, the underlying tension," she said. "It was never discussed between myself and my castmates. I've moved on and it's amazing and the show is doing incredibly well."
She continued: "It shows an intelligent and witty show can do well without people slapping each other and cursing each other out and flipping tables."
OK, Bethenny's done, can we all move on now? Really, I have no problem with Bethenny leaving, she has it all now and considering how we got to know Bethenny in the first place--as the attractive, witty single, in her late-30's 'Housewife' who wants to settle down--we should be happy for her. Then too, it's been clear that Jill and Kelly (in particular) have been envious of Bethenny for awhile now and with a new family does Bethenny really need the added darama and tension? Sure 'Housewife' fans will miss Bethenny (and God we can only hope that Krazy Kelly doesn't come back, but that's wishful thinking), but we'll survive.

Tareq And Michaele Salahi Talk 'Puzzle Pieces' In DC Housewives
Get the feeling that Tareq Salahi is going to be the new Simon Van Kempen.
Danielle Staub's Exes Slam Her With Separate Lawsuits
Just as Danielle Staub threatens to sue her castmates after Monday's (July 12) hair-raising episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," her exes are announcing they will be suing her in two separate cases.
Her ex-husband, Kevin Maher, tells Zap2it his attorneys will file a lawsuit against Staub, her book's alleged ghost writer and its publisher, Simon & Schuster within the next two weeks for "lies" found in her book, "The Naked Truth." And her ex-boyfriend, Steve Zalewski, has filed a defamation and harassment suit against the housewife for alleged lies she told surrounding the sex tape they made together.
According to Maher, the two men hoped their suits would hit together. "Steve and I were working together," he tells us. "We wanted to sue her on both coasts at the same time, but my lawyer was too busy and Steve beat us to it."
In January, Maher's attorneys sent Simon & Schuster a letter. It informed them that he was suing Staub in Los Angeles County Superior Court and that if the book contained anything untrue about him, he would pursue legal actions against them, too.
Must've been hard to make those sex tapes with men considering Danielle's a lesbo now.

Teresa Giudice Finds Drama In Bankruptcy Court
Teresa Giudice has a new adversary, and its not any of her fellow “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
Court papers show that the Bravo reality TV star and her husband, who filed for bankruptcy protection last fall, are facing a lawsuit to prevent them from taking advantage of the debt discharge available to individuals under the Bankruptcy Code. According to Chapter 7 trustee John Sywilok, tasked with rounding up the couple’s assets and distributing the proceeds to creditors, the Giudices allegedly concealed key documents about their finances and business transactions.
The assets the Giudices are alleged to have concealed include interests in a pizza parlor, laundromat, Teresa’s TG Fabulicious clothing and accessories company (where you can buy the “Jersey Girl” shirt she wore on the first season for $24.95) and the “Skinny Italian” cookbook she authored (which promises to teach readers how to eat spaghetti and still fit into their skinny jeans). Sywilok also accuses the couple of making false statements under oath about their assets, income and expenses.
The Giudices’ bankruptcy attorney wasn’t immediately available for comment Thursday.
As much as Teresa and Joe seem to be putting on a good face in front of the cameras, can't help but wonder if all this financial drama going on is causing some tension in the Giudice household.
The Real Housewives Franchise Goes Global
It’s not enough that we Americans thrive off the drama of some of the most dramatic, spoiled housewives and moms in the country (hello, Real Housewives of New Jersey); now other countries are picking up on the Real Housewives phenomenon and running with it. Now that we’ve successfully integrated the Real Housewives of New Jersey, New York, Orange County, Atlanta, and–soon!–D.C. into our culture, the embarrassingly addicting series is working its way across the pond.
The first international edition of The Real Housewives will be Real Housewives of Athens–it’s currently filming, so we may not have to wait too long for it to infiltrate our minds. Apparently, Bravo is also in a current legal battle to prevent an unauthorized version in Spain from going on air, and another non-Bravo-sanctioned Real Housewives of Sandbanks (a British beach town) has been cast.
Plus, imitation Real Housewives series are being planned in France, Italy, Germany, and Australia, according to Gawker.com. We have a feeling we’ll be doing some seriously online search for these episodes as they start premiering.
Guess this news will keep me in business for awhile.

Jacqueline Laurita on Danielle Staub's Lawsuit: 'She's Pathetic'
Viewers are probably still spinning from Monday's (July 12) episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" when all hell broke loose at a fashion show.
We've never seen so much fur fly (and we're not talking about Danielle's Staub'sJacqueline Laurita's daughter, Ashley, did get fined $189 by a court for pulling Danielle's "hair."
Apparently that wasn't enough for the former jailbird. Danielle's lawyer spoke to Hollywood Life and said that they're pursuing a lawsuit against Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline, Ashley, and anyone else involved in the incident.
"We are going to use this footage and prepare a case against these women," Danielle's attorney, Paul Giblin, told the site. "We are seeking assault and battery charges, defamation of character and punitive damages as well."
The attorney also said they'll be asking a judge for restraining orders against the women. Zap2it spoke to Jacqueline about the legal threat.
"You can't defame someone who defames herself," Jacqueline told us. "I have not told any lies about her. I never physically touched her or threatened her, so I am not worried."
Jacqueline feels that this is just Danielle being a media whore. "She will do anything, and I mean anything, to stay in the press," she says. "I think she's pathetic and desperate. Maybe she has a fear that she won't be asked to return next year so she's grasping at straws to keep a connection between us. I don't know."
Danielle Staub's going to file a "defamation of character" lawsuit? LOL!!!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Pulls In Record Ratings For Bravo
Good to see all that over-the-top promoting Bravo did for that last episode worked.HollywoodNews.com: The latest episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” just became the highest-rated non-finale episode of the series, and there’s no question why.
Holy catfight! The hair-pulling, police infested fight between Danielle Staub, Teresa Giudice, and Ashley Holmes left viewers nothing but shocked and entertained. A total of 3.29 million viewers tuned in to watch the drama central episode, with 2.28 million of them being in the adults 18-49 range, according to Entertainment Weekly.
These ladies sure know how to make the women on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” look mellow.
Camille Grammer Got Hitched With No Prenup
TMZ has learned ... Kelsey Grammer took a page out of Larry King's playbook, and got hitched to Camille without a prenup.
It's pretty stunning, since during the run of "Frasier" Kelsey was the highest paid actor on TV ... making $1.6 mil an episode at the end of the show's 11-year run.
As we first reported, Kelsey is asking that some of his "Frasier" money be declared his separate property. Turns out, he was married in 1997, four years after the series launched. So Kelsey's separate property request only covers the first 4 years. His earnings for the remaining 7 years, as well as much of the syndication money, will be considered communityproperty .
Going 50/50 is risky business, when you've already been married twice before. Camille is Kelsey's third wife.
Just a note for the future.
Clearly, this woman's level of intelligence should not be underestimated.

Real Housewives of Atlanta Shoot in Charlotte
The Real Housewives of Atlanta are in the Queen City shooting for their show and we grilled them on relationships, how they really get along and what to expect in the upcoming season.
Their tour bus was hard to miss, pretty much the only car parked in front of the popular Plaza Midwood bar The Thirsty Beaver at two on Wednesday afternoon.
Kim Zolciak and Kandy Burruss are two of the Atlanta housewives on the popular Bravo reality show.
Tonight they are hanging out in Charlotte with the show's production crew along for the ride.
We asked about filming.
“It's been fun, I’m tired,” Kim told us.
But as far as season spoilers, the ladies basically kept their lips locked.
“[There’s] a lot of funny stuff,” Kim said. “We have a lot of great funny moments.”
I like Kim Zolciak admitting that she doesn't "really care" about the 'Housewives' on other shows. I don't particularly go far Bravo's lame attempts to get 'Housewives' from different shows/cities to mix it up (much less seeing Nene Leakes hangout with Danielle Staub is just awkward on its own), it's weird to see people who really don't know jack about each other almost forced to be friendly. If 'Housewives' from different shows are meant to be friends just let it happen naturally.
Alex & Simon McCord on New “Calmer” Bethenny Frankel: “Let’s Hope She Stays That Way”
Simon van Kempen and Alex McCord were two Real Housewives of New York City stars to make the cut to attend Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy’s wedding, which finally aired on Bravo, and they say Bethenny Getting Married? made it look a lot more hectic than it actually was!
“It’s déjà vu all over again because the wedding was in March,” Alex explained to OK! while attending the Exclusive Preview Fête of Panoramic View Resort & Residences in Montauk, N.Y., on Saturday.
“When we were first invited to the wedding I was thinking, ‘Oh no, a wedding with cameras around.’ But in a way, every wedding has cameras around,” Simon says. “You really didn’t notice and that wasn’t so bizarre.”
“Absolutely,” Alex agrees. “I remember at our wedding there were guests who said, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry the photographer was so intrusive’ or ‘Oh, they were really getting in your face,’ and I remember saying, ‘We had no idea.’
“The reaction from the episode on the blogs and so on were really positive,” Simon told OK!. “I think the buildup on Bethenny Getting Married? to it was far more manic than the actual day was itself. And, honestly, I credit Jason for that.”
“Jason is a very calming influence on Bethenny. His parents are adorable and have embraced Bethenny to become the mother-in-law/father-in-law-she-never-had type of thing. And that’s really awesome for her,” Simon added. “In real life, she’s a mother. On the show, she’s not yet. But falling in love, getting married and having a baby, at least one of those things in the right order, has been a real calming influence on Bethenny, who, let’s face it, can be a fairly manic individual. Very driven.”
Teresa Giudice Wants Restraining Order Against Danielle Staub
Popeater.com:
EXCLUSIVE: Tempers reached new dramatic heights during this week's episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' The episode featured hot-tempered housewife Teresa Giudice starting an argument and Ashley Holmes, daughter of housewife Jacqueline Laurita, physically attacking the ladies' sworn enemy, Danielle Staub. Although Staub's lawyer has confirmed that his client is suing, Giudice tells me Staub is the real threat.
"Believe me, if we could get a restraining order against a cast member, Danielle would have had four against her already. I never threatened her. She, however, has been on camera threatening me, stalking me and even practicing doing me harm," she reveals.
Giudice called Staub's accusation of "defamation of character" a ridiculous joke. "Don't make me laugh. I think she's defamed her own reputation all by herself," Giudice adds.

Honestly, when it comes Kim Granetell who knows what to believe since she loves to play both sides of the fence so much. But according to Kim G. her and Danielle aren't on speaking terms at the moment, then too now that Kim G. has openly declared her want for a fulltime spot on next season's RHONJ, we know she's capable of saying anything to keep herself in the mix.

Jeana Keough Selling Diane Keaton, Laguna Beach Home
Jeana Keough, who is one of the original members of Bravo TV reality show 'The Real Housewives of Orange County,' is selling the former Laguna Beach home of actress Diane Keaton.
The oceanfront home in North Laguna has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 3,280-square-feet of living space on a 7,800-square-foot lot and plenty of ocean views.
The listing at 989 Cliff Drive is priced at $13 million, and last closed sale for $14.5 million in 2005, Keough (a Weichert Realtors Gold Coast agent) says.
Originally built in 1928, Keaton kept the home true to its original style, Keough says. This oceanfront house changed hands from Keaton to the current owners about 5 years ago, she says.

Kelly Bensimon In Harper's Bazaar: Still Pointing Fingers, Denies Being Crazy
Kelly Bensimon strikes a stunning pose in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar, showcasing her toned figure, in fighting form, and in the interview she reveals the truth about her infamous blowup with the ladies of the Real Housewives of New York on "Scary Island."
On the alleged breakdown on Real Housewives of New York City: “I am not crazy. I am unpredictable,” Bensimon says. And in case you were wondering, “I’m not in therapy.”On the other Real Housewives of New York City: “Whether it’s my nail color, my hair color, or the shoes I’m wearing, everything about me bothers them.” "They want to go to the parties I go to, they want to hang out with me, they want to do the things that I’m doing."
On moving forward: "I’m 42, and I have this new life,” she says. “Yes, I’m more mass market. And that’s okay. It’s my job.…I’ve worked so hard. It wasn’t always lollipops and unicorns.” “I tell my girls, ‘Your mom gets paid to engage in inappropriate behavior.’ It’s an amazing opportunity for them to see that being mean is not okay. I tell them, ‘If you’re in a situation like this, walk out. Don’t come back with jelly beans.’”
Andy Cohen on Kelly Bensimon's alleged breakdown: "I think it was deeply disturbing. It seemed like she had a break of some kind, but I can't say exactly what it was." "She was not forced to go to Saint John by Bravo or the producers," he says. "That's untrue."
We're done with the 3rd season of RHONYC and Kelly's going to make sure she stays in the news just as much Bethenny. Funny that.

Teresa Giudice vs. Danielle Staub: Chaos at the Country Club
Funny how Danielle asked to leave like 7 times, yet no one would just get her out of there. Great job by Ashley on the hair grab, that was so quick that I missed it the first time around.
