Why Camille Grammer Is Back On The Beach After Skin Cancer Diagnosis

PageSix.com:
After being diagnosed with skin cancer and having a malignant growth removed, Camille Grammer is defending her decision to step back into the sun.

Posting a bikini selfie on Thursday, she wrote, “No makeup heading up to the beach. Sunblock on. Close up and impersonal 😉 And to those who question why I’m in the sun after skin cancer.. I still want to enjoy the surf and sun. Seems crazy rt but my skin cancer was located where the sun doesn’t shine go figure. I’m still here! And I went out in the surf for a couple of hours yesterday. I caught a few waves on my SUP and it as so much fun!! Living life before it’s too late. Don’t give up your fight!! [sic].”

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 49, spent the holidays with her children in Hawaii. Their trip came just weeks after she revealed that she had been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, the second-most common type of skin cancer, and had a small malignancy removed. Sources told Page Six that the newly engaged star was in “good spirits” at her Bravo show’s premiere party last month.

“She’s grateful for all the support and suggests everyone listen to their bodies and trust their instincts,” Grammer’s rep told us after the star’s surgery.

She was previously diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2013 and underwent a radical hysterectomy in June 2014.
