Let's face it, not only has Kenya Moore
been a boon for RHOA ratings (and made us all forget about a certain hypocritical, ghetto, potty-mouthed, blonde chick who loves to wear wigs), but
in this episode Kenya not only looks out for her own health, but gives women all over a serious reminder on the importance of getting a
mammogram (esp. after you hit 40):
Kenya Moore faced a scary moment on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
After finding suspicious lumps on her breasts, she underwent multiple
biopsies for breast cancer. It was the waiting to hear the results that
proved the most difficult.
"While I’m lying there on the examination table, you kinda start to
wonder, if it goes in this direction, how you would feel if it’s not
good news," she said. "You just really start to think about life in a
much bigger way."
Thankfully for a tearful Kenya, she received good news: Her tumors
were benign. But her doctor still told her to reduce the stress in her
life and return for a check-up in six months.
One way to reduce her stress levels might be for Kenya to stop
creating so much drama on the show. She's emerged as the "villain" of
the series, which might make for great entertainment, but isn't worth
risking her health and well-being.
