Robert Verdi Interviews Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer

Friends Or Enemies? New York Housewife Jill Zarin Skipping Ramona's Party

RadarOnline.com:
Fans love Real Housewives of New York for it's non-stop drama and endless catfights, so when news spread Jill Zarin would be a no-show at Ramona Singer's upcoming premiere party, whispers and giggles were abound.

But RadarOnline.com spoke exclusively to Zarin's rep, who dished the dirt: she won't be there, but is not boycotting her "frenemies" event.

"I received several calls asking me if Jill was boycotting Ramona's party," Darren Bettencourt told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

"It's true she is not attending, but it's not true that it's a boycott."

Rumors of their feud stemmed from a RadarOnline.com report regarding Romona being a no-show during New York Fashion Week at Zarin's launch party for her sexy shape wear line -- Skweez Couture.

Housewives LuAnn de Lesseps, Cindy Barshop, Alex McCord, Sonja Morgan and Bravo executive Andy Cohen were all there to support Zarin on her big night.

In addition to a slew of new series annoucements, the network has ordered new seasons of Bethenny Ever After (yay!), Tabatha's Salon Takeover, Top Chef Just Desserts (yay!), The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (quintuple yay!).

Real Housewives casting in Toronto

TheGlobeandMail.com:
The hunt is on for well-heeled, well-preserved housewives in Toronto to star in a Canadian version of the juggernaut television franchise Real Housewives.

In recent weeks, the city’s doyennes of upper-crust domesticity have been fielding calls from casting agents asking them to audition for the chance to become the next Bethenny, the break-out queen of Real Housewives of New York.

So far, there’s been lots of blushing and giggling among a chosen set, but apparently few of the moneyed matrons of Rosedale, the Bridle Path or Forest Hill have accepted the invitation to have their tony family lives filmed as tawdry spectator sport. Definite no-gos include cable guy Ed Rogers’s wife Suzanne, as well as fashionista Stacey Kimel. Jessica Mulroney – wife of eTalk Daily’s Ben Mulroney and part of the Brown shoe family – is apparently still mulling it over.

Real Housewives of Orange County launched in 2006 on Bravo (part of the NBC Universal family) and now has spinoffs in New York, Beverly Hills, New Jersey, Atlanta, Washington and Miami. The series airs in Canada on the Slice network.

Louise Clark, founder of Vancouver’s Lark Productions, has confirmed her company is “currently investigating casting opportunities for a prospective new Canadian Housewives-type series.” But she won’t fess up to official Housewives status, and adds, “casting is in very early stages and a series has not yet been green lit.”

Teresa Giudice Punched In Face By Bar Thug

RadarOnline.com:
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice is known for causing a scene, and that’s just what she did while vacationing with the cast in the Dominican Republic last month – leading the star to be punched in the face and several of her cast mates in police custody!

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned Teresa was the reason behind the February 23 bar brawl at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana and it was her playful antics that didn’t sit well with at least one bar patron in particular.

“It was late, they were on vacation, and she was just having fun,” said a show insider.

“She opened the champagne and just started spraying it everywhere and it went all over this woman near her.”

According to the source, the drenched woman’s husband did not take kindly to the rowdy group and physically attacked Teresa.

“It was crazy, he got really angry and punched Teresa in the face!”

RadarOnline.com previously reported that all the cast members partied at their hotel bar at about 1 am on February 23, including Caroline and her husband Albert, Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, Teresa and Joe Giudice, newcomers Kathy and Richy Wakile, Joey and Melissa Gorga, the Manzo children (Chris, Albie, and Lauren) and roommate Gregory Bennett.

“Joe, Albie and Chris were trying to protect Teresa and they just grabbed the guy and started fighting, and then people joined in.

“Bravo helped to break up the fight,“ added the source.

Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley Engaged: Real Life Judge Tells Slade to Get a Job

DBKP.com:
“Who pays for school? That would be me, Daddy Warbucks. I want a sugar mama.”
Slade Smiley, March 10, 2008, Bravo survey posted on Slade Smiley’s MySpace page

One of the storylines of The Real Housewives of Orange County season six, the inexplicable, ‘Will Gretchen Rossi marry Slade Smiley?’ storyline. According to sources, Slade and Gretchen got engaged, the engagement scene to be aired in the final episode. A thoroughly bizarre storyline, the beautiful, in her early 30′s, bright and bubbly Gretchen Rossi getting engaged to, in his forties, can’t find a job or pay child support for his cancer stricken young son, Slade Smiley. In season four, the bright, bubbly 30-yr-old Gretchen was engaged to cancer stricken Jeff Beitzel , 54, who died on September 13, 2008. At the end of season two Slade had dumped original Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Jo De La Rosa. Slade and Jo departed to LA where the two landed the first Bravo Real Housewive’s spinoff, Jo and Slade: Date My Ex. By season five, Slade was back on RHOOC as Gretchen’s live-in lover.

In court documents filed in the fall of 2009, Smiley claimed he was ‘destitute’ and ‘indigent’. According to a recent report from the OC Register, a judge recently ordered Slade Smiley to find work, get a job outside of the ‘entertainment/TV and title industries’. An unusual order unless you’d read the original court documents filed by Smiley.

Season six airs Sunday, March 6, 9/8 Central.

According to the Register, Slade Smiley owes $138,857.64 in back child support to Smiley’s ex-girlfriend Michelle Arroyo. Smiley and Arroyo’s son, Grayson Arroyo-Smiley, 10, has a rare form of brain cancer, diffuse fibrillary astrocytoma. According to the Register, Smiley, who has been seen driving around Costa Mesa, had his driver’s license suspended on January 8th for non-payment of child support. The most interesting detail from Pedro and the Watcher at the OC Register:

‘Last but not least, a judge recently ordered Smiley to seek work outside of the entertainment/TV or title industries, because he’s been unable to obtain money through those ventures for extended periods of time.’

DeShawn Snow: How I Lost 30 Pounds

USmagazine.com:
When former Real Housewives of Atlanta star DeShawn Snow endured a very public, bitter divorce from NBA player Eric Snow last summer, the mom of three didn't eat out of stress -- in fact, she did the very opposite: She dropped 30 pounds!

"I felt everything was out of my control," Snow, 37, tells UsMagazine.com exclusively of the time period in which she was prompted to slim down. "I had no control over anything that was happening in my life and the weight and working out was something I could control."

Snow credits her close friend and personal trainer, Trey Crump, with keeping her motivated through her relationship troubles.

"[When] Trey heard [of my divorce], he texted me and was like 'Meet me at the gym at 6 a.m.' He didn't ask me any questions, we just worked out. That was his way of getting me out of bed and then once I started, I just got consistent."

As for her diet, Snow -- who works out two hours a day and says she'd like to lose 10 more pounds -- is sure to eat in moderation.

"I supplement with protein shakes and I try to stay away from carbs," Snow tells Us. "Sometimes I'll have seafood or vegetables. Basically it's portion size, a maintenance thing."

Three years after her stint on Housewives, Snow is ready to impart her body confidence secrets to others through scripted TV dramas and yes, another reality series.

"All of my projects are basically to empower and encourage young women," Snow says. "The hardest thing in life is to believe that things happen for a reason. You can't be a victim, you have to be a victor -- press through it -- and know that success is the best revenge."
Not to knock her weight loss or anything, but if you ask me judging fron those Before/After pics she looked better with the extra baggage on than without it.

Joe Giudice To Plead Not Guilty To Fraud Charges

RadarOnline.com:
Joe Giudice has a date with a Passaic County, NJ judge Monday morning, and RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that The Real Housewives star intends to plead "not guilty" to the fraud charges that have been leveled against him.

Teresa Giudice's controversial husband has been charged with Forgery and Wrongfully Using the Identifying Information of Another in an attempt to obtain a driver's license in his brother's name.

Officials claim he presented his brother's birth certificate and marriage license, and signed his brother's name to the application. Joe's own license is suspended as a result of a DUI conviction.

He was arrested at his home Friday and as RadarOnline.com previously reported, spent six hours in jail before family members put up his $50,000 bail. His mother then drove him to a resort in the Poconos where his The Real Housewives of New Jersey star wife was having a book signing.

Jill Zarin: 'I Don't Think Bethenny Ever Really Fit Into The Group

USmagazine.com:
All's well that ends well.

Jill Zarin's friendship with Bethenny Frankel went down in flames on the last season of Real Housewives of New York.

What's the group dynamic nowadays -- with newcomer Cindy Barshop in and Frankel out?

The sixth season (premiering April 7) is "my favorite," Zarin told UsMagazine.com during a visit to the NYC headquarters with her sister, radio personality Lisa Wexler.

"Living through it was the most enjoyable season," Zarin. (Frankel now stars in her own Bravo series, Bethenny Ever After; waxing salon entrepreneur Barshop joins show vets Zarin, Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer and Alex McCord.)

"I don't think Bethenny ever really fit into the group," Zarin tells Us. "She's found herself on her own show -- her own island. She self-admittedly doesn't like people [besides her husband Jason Hoppy and daughter Bryn, 10 months.]."

In the clip, Zarin and Wexler, talk about a new paperback edition of Secrets of a Jewish Mother, which they co-authored with their mother Gloria Kamen.
Funny how Jill conveniently forgets how her and Bethenny were like BFF's just a few years ago. But it's never Jill's fault, is it.

Bethenny Frankel: I Knew I’d Get My Own Show Even Before ‘Real Housewives'

Hollywoodlife.com:
Bethenny saw ‘RHONY’ as a mere transition to help her launch her empire — not as a goal in itself. And she doesn’t miss her old cast mates in the least!

Former The Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel had a plan to get her own reality show from the very beginning. So when Jill Zarin introduced Bethenny to the producers at Bravo and they asked her to join the cast of RHONY, Bethenny saw this as the opportunity that she needed. “It was definitely a plan,” Bethenny tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “It was definitely something I knew was going to happen. I could see it.”

So when Bethenny joined the cast, she made it a point to “separate from the pack” as she puts it in her new book, A Place of Yes: 10 Rules for Getting Everything You Want Out of Life. “I separated in a sense that Season One — everybody was being frivolous,” Bethenny explains to us. “I was just trying to build a career and I was already working on all the projects.”

“Bravo is very much a network that is known for and relishes big drama, diamonds, glam, money and luxury,” Bethenny says. “I was not that. I had no money, I lived in 700 square-foot apartment. I had no idea what was going on in my life emotionally or career-wise. I separated in the sense that I wasn’t going to pretend I was somebody I wasn’t. I had to separate from the pack and be truthful.”

And when Bethenny found out she was getting her own show, not one of her fellow cast members — Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, Jill, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps or Kelly Bensimon — congratulated her.

Joe Giudice Bailed Out By Family As Wife Teresa Goes To Book Signing

Wonder if Joe ever thinks about how he looks to his daughters when he's up to these shenanigans:
It was business as usual for Real Housewife Teresa Giudice Friday night despite the fact her husband Joe had been arrested just a few hours before!

RadarOnline.com broke all the exclusive details of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star's husband being busted, and now we've learned that as he sat in jail, she headed out to a public appearance as if nothing had happened.

Joe Giudice, 40, was arrested at the couple's home and charged with fraudulently obtaining a state driver's license. While he spent six hours being processed at a local police station, Teresa went to her book signing at the Mount Airy Casino Resort in the Poconos.

Joe was eventually picked up by two male family members, who posted his $50,000 bail. His mother drove him to meet Teresa, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

Teresa later tweeted about their evening, completely ignoring the legal drama.

"Hanging out with my honey at Mt Airy Casino. Just finished dinner now we are going to check out the scene."

Lynda Erkiletian Sets the Record Straight on the Season 2 Rumors

Zap2It.com:
As we reported on Thursday (March 24), news that Bravo would not be renewing "The Real Housewives of DC" for a second season spread on the Internet.

And even though the network clearly stated that it had not made a decision regarding the show's Season 2, the reports continued. Now, one of the cast members wants to set the record straight.

"There's no official announcement," cast member Lynda Erkiletian tells Zap2it exclusively. "There's no way. [Cast member Cat Ommanney] is going on 'Watch What Happens Live' on the 28th. One might wonder why [Andy Cohen is] having a DC housewife as a guest [if the show is canceled]."

"There's negotiations taking place," she adds. "And no decision has taken place. Whoever started the rumor was basically doing it for attention."

We spoke to Lynda further on the cancelation rumors, the talk of low ratings and the criticism that the cast just wasn't exciting enough in Season 1.

Who and for what reason would someone want to start the rumor that the show was canceled?
I think we certainly have people out there who like attention, thrive on it, make stuff up, and are habitual at it. So, my first thought was that a team who had something to gain, which is a firestorm, leaked it. I'm perfectly happy living my real life in the real world while negotiations are taking place.

The article's source says the show should be shooting by now. Is that true?
That's not true. Basically, we're four months on, four months of promoting and finalizing interviews, and that sort of thing, and normally four months off.

And when you say we're supposed to be filming right now, we're obviously filming when we're supposed to be filming. And if we're not filming right now, that means we're not supposed to be. It's just craziness.

How do you feel about the reports that your show failed in the ratings?
The thing that I really hated about what was going on yesterday was that people kept talking about the ratings. Our ratings were double, triple what Bravo had anticipated. Our ratings, basically as I heard it from Bravo and [the show's production company] Half Yard, we were only second to New Jersey as a freshman show. Our first episode had 1,700,000 or 1,600,000 viewers. Beverly Hills didn't have that on their first episode.

So, the idea that people were saying we were terrible in the ratings? We weren't. We exceeded everyone's expectations. We knew that the [White House] incident may affect our viewership and some people wouldn't want to watch. So, we came from a disadvantage and we managed to run over a million viewers for every single episode. I was very proud of our ratings considering the circumstances, but most importantly because we were a new show.
Thank goodness for Lynda--is there a 'Housewife' who does a better job at providing us with the truth (I mean, now that Bethenny's gone)? I still say the haters out there talking about RHODC supposedly suffering from low ratings are more upset with Michaele Salahi than anything--then too anyone who thought the first season of RHODC was "boring" clearly didn't watch it. But then would it be shocking if we found out that the Salahi's are the ones leaking this mis-information in the first place? Probably not.

Peggy Tanous' Portpartum Confession: I Thought of Grabbing the Gun

EOnline.com:
Just when you thought The Real Housewives of Orange County was only good for drama-fueled catfights, it's newest castmember, Peggy Tanous, is about to shed light on a very serious issue.

On this Sunday's episode, the former model reveals a three-year battle with postpartum depression that got so bad she contemplated suicide...

"I [felt] so lost and depressed and overwhelmed that I had a thought of going upstairs and grabbing the gun," Tanous exclusively told us when we chatted with her earlier today.

"There were days when I would wake up and I just didn't want to get out of bed...Thank god there were never thoughts of me wanting to harm my children...That was never, ever the case for me, thank god! But it was more just harming myself or running away. Like I had thoughts, I'm going to get the car today and just drive off and never come back."

The 41-year-old mama of two says through the help of holistic supplements, she was able to gain control of her depression.

"I'm in a much better place now," she says, "and feel almost pretty much back to normal. I have some bad day,s but for the most part I feel pretty much back to normal...It's an ongoing struggle."

Taylor Armstrong & Husband In Therapy

RadarOnline.com:
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty Taylor Armstrong and her husband, Russell, showed signs of strain in their marriage on the Bravo hit show and now RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the couple is in therapy.

Audiences watched the first season of the show as the pair seemed to become more disconnected and a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com that the couple is trying to work through their issues with the help of renowned psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy.

"Dr. Sophy was introduced to Taylor by their mutual friend, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif. Adrienne is truly the anchor for the cast members, they all gravitate towards her for guidance. Adrienne wants Taylor to find peace, and Dr. Sophy is helping her do that.”

And while the couple takes steps to repair the breakdown in their marriage, we’re told several of the sessions with Dr. Sophy will be filmed for the upcoming season Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, although Russell is not quite as receptive to the cameras as Taylor.

Somehow I don't think anyone is shocked at this news.

Joe Giudice Charged With Possessing Fraudulent ID

BaltimoreSun.com:
Real Housewife husband Guiseppe “Joe” Giudice just can’t stay out of trouble.

A month after he was reportedly detained by police for a messy bar brawl in the Dominican Republic, he was busted Friday for using a fraudulent New Jersey driver’s license, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Giudice, 40, was arrested at his home in Towaco, New Jersey, by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Financial Crimes Unit, assisted by Montville police.

Giudice, whose license is suspended, is accused of creating a new license at the New Jersey DMV – using his brother’s information.

The troubled Housewife hubby is facing charges of forgery and wrongfully using the identifying information of another. He could receive up to ten years in prison.

Bravo Remains Undecided on Giving 'The Real Housewives of DC' a Second Term

Zap2It.com:
There has been a lot of speculation on the state of Bravo's "Real Housewives" franchise. When once it was a force to be reckoned with, viewership shows that just because a cast is blessed with "The Real Housewives" title, it doesn't mean they're going to be a hit.

Now, Radaronline.com reports that "The Real Housewives of DC" has been impeached from the franchise.

"The show just didn't do well and it wasn't worth airing another season," a source "close to the situation" tells the site.

We contacted Bravo for a statement and a representative tells us, "The network has made no decision regarding a Season 2."

According to the report, filming for the second DC season was to begin about now, but Bravo has yet to contact the housewives about their decision to cancel the series.

The first season of the series was marred by the antics of the alleged gatecrashers, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, and several of the cast members believed the couple hijacked the season. It was a bit of a PR debacle for the network, as well, as it played coy around confirming that the Salahis were on the show to begin with.
First, I won't buy news of anybody being canceled I hear it from Bravo. Second, was RHODC really that bad or are all the blogs and such talking about this just hating to Michaele Salahi? Third, if Bravo execs really think the first season of RHODC was crap, why not just get rid of the lightning-rod Michaele (who honestly has become more and more of a joke) and 'save' the show with a couple of new 'Housewives' rather than give up on the rest of the cast and cancel the show after only one season? I mean DC certainly has a popular and well-to-do base and it wasn't like RHODC did that bad in the ratings (despite what the haters tell you). Then too, certainly there are enough DC fans who want ton continue hearing the stories of Lynda, Stacie, Catherine, Mary and yes, even Michaele. I know I do. Thus, Bravo would be better served bringing RHODC back for another season.

Tamra Barney Plans To Marry Eddie Judge

Newstime.com:
Tamra Barney plans to wed her boyfriend Eddie Judge.

The 'Real Housewives of Orange Country' star says she can't wait to marry the 37-year-old hunk - who she has dated for a year - and insists if it wasn't for her children she would already be his wife.

She said: “Within the next year we’ll be married.

“It’s all about timing right now and the kids play a huge part. If it weren’t for the kids, we’d be married right now, but we’re happy as can be; it’s happily ever after!”

The glamorous blonde – who has four children, Ryan, Sidney, Spencer and Sophia, with ex-husband Simon Barney, who she was married to for 11 years until their divorce in 2010 – went on to praise Eddie for understanding her.

She told RadarOnline.com: “It’s an insane amount of love; I have never said term ‘soulmate’ before, but we are!

“We finish each other’s sentences - I’m not the easiest person in the world and he gets me, nor does he judge. He simply says, ‘That’s my girl.’ Eddie is one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life - he’s understanding, he’s caring and he just really has a big heart.”

The 45-year-old beauty also revealed that she and Eddie have talked about having a baby together, and are prepared to adopt.

Sonja Morgan Fights Back Against 'Manufactured Outrage' . . . in Bankruptcy Court

WSJ.com:
Bankruptcy, it turns out, isn’t that much different from reality television.

Sonja Tremont-Morgan, one of the Bravo cable network’s “Real Housewives of New York,” is accusing a creditor of unfairly portraying her “in the worst possible light” and also of wrongly attributing “sinister motive” to her bankruptcy filing last year. While it’s no table flipping or hair yanking, the accusations no doubt sound familiar to viewers of the Real Housewives franchise.

In court papers filed Monday, Morgan says that Hannibal Pictures Inc.’s request that her Chapter 11 bankruptcy be dismissed is an attempt by the California film producer to “manufacture outrage” that her bankruptcy filing allowed her to avoid paying Hannibal a legal judgment. (We’ll note that manufacturing outrage or any other strong emotion is certainly nothing new to a participant in a “reality” show.)

Hannibal had won the $7 million judgment in September 2009 in a court battle with Morgan over their failed partnership to make a movie called–no reality show producer could have made this up–“Fast Flash to Bang Time,” starring John Travolta. Following the judgment was a temporary restraining order barring Morgan from depleting or diverting her assets, which Hannibal says Morgan violated throughout 2010. Then Morgan, whose appeal of the $7 million judgment is pending, filed for bankruptcy in November, and the move automatically halted Hannibal’s bid to collect on the outstanding judgment.

Albert Manzo Surrenders Fight With Gov. Chris Christie

TheRepublic.com:
The husband of one of the one of the stars of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" reality show has decided not to fight Gov. Chris Christie.

Albert Manzo resigned from the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission Monday, saying he didn't want to become a distraction.

The governor had suspended Manzo and another board member and threatened to file ethics charges unless they stepped down. The jobs pay $7,500 and include health benefits.

Manzo drew Christie's wrath for maintaining addresses at the Paterson restaurant that he co-owns and the Franklin Lakes mansion featured on the reality show.

A Christie spokesman told The Record newspaper the resignations are part of what's needed to "finally make these powerful, ungoverned authorities accountable to their ratepayers."

Sonja Morgan Speaks On New Season of "Real Housewives of New York"

Vicki Gunvalson: I'm Having a "Midlife Crisis"

USmagazine.com:
Real Housewives of Orange County veteran Vicki Gunvalson (the only cast member left from the show's very first season) is still keeping it real with UsMagazine.com.

During a recent visit to Us' offices in NYC, Gunvalson, 49, admitted to Us, "I'm going through a midlife crisis."

The evidence? "I've got a convertible, a belly button ring, and I'm getting a divorce!" (Gunvalson and hubby Donn filed for divorce last year after 16 years of marriage.)

Actually, she had a belly button ring -- find out what happened to Gunvalson's piercing (ouch!) at an airport in this video, where she's joined by costars Alexis Bellino, Tamra Barney, and Gretchen Rossi.

n this exclusive chat, the Bravo stars also fess up about what plastic surgery they've had done -- and what they need! "Everybody seems to think i've had so much work done," Bellino tells Us before detailing what procedures she's undergone.

Adds divorcee Barney: "I need" a facelift.

Bethenny Frankel Narrates "A Place of Yes" Audiobook

Here's a link to a review on "A Place of Yes" HERE.

Albert Manzo on Gov. Christie's Accusations: 'I Did Nothing Wrong'

Zap2it.com:
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" Caroline Manzo is pretty used to controversy, but it's her husband, businessman Albert Manzo, who's finding himself in the middle of a storm right now.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has asked the house husband for an immediate resignation from his post as a Commissioner at the North Jersey District Water Supply saying he abused the public's trust.

"I don't think Governor Christie is personally attacking us," Albert tells Zap2it exclusively. "I just think the guy's got a certain contempt for every agency. He thinks they're all crooked. And we want to sweep everybody out with one big broad brush. But, if you look at our water utility, it's a model for water utilities or any regional commission."

The Governor accuses Albert of misleading the public by claiming that he lived in an apartment at the family's restaurant and banquet hall, The Brownstone, in Paterson, N.J. as opposed to his house located in Franklin Lakes, N.J., which isn't one of the 12 major municipalities the commission serves.

"I had no intention of trying to pull the wool over anybody's eyes," Albert, who is a registered Republican, tells us. "Governor Christie is saying I circumvented senatorial courtesy. Well, senatorial courtesy is an informal, uncodified, internal procedure. There's no such thing as senatorial courtesy. It's not a law."

According to Albert, the only law about residence as it pertains to positions like his is that he "must live in the water supply district."

"So, if I live anywhere in the district that the water is sold or offered, I qualify," he says. "I think he's just looking to find the loopholes to get me out."

Lisa Vanderpump's Dog Giggy Gets a Hollywood Agent

USmagazine.com:
Watch out, Benji and Lassie: There's a new star pooch in town.

Giggy -- Lisa Vanderpump's pocket-sized, super-fashionable dog on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills -- has signed with a talent agency!

"It's true," Vanderpump tells UsMagazine.com of her beloved Pomeranian, who became a breakout star on the first season of Bravo's smash. "He's with CAA." That would be Creative Artists' Agency, the same mega-firm that has such A-listers as Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts as clients.

Adds Vanderpump of her pride and joy: "He's very talented and ready to work."

What kind of gigs is Giggy sniffing for?

"He can do charity; he is open to anything. The only thing he isn't very good at is radio."

Bethenny Ever Relaxing

NYTimes.com:
One of the original “Real Housewives of New York City,” Bethenny Frankel, 40, has starred in two solo spinoffs on Bravo: first “Bethenny Getting Married?” and now “Bethenny Ever After,” in its second season. She lives in TriBeCa with her reality show co-stars: her husband, Jason Hoppy, 39, who works in sales; their 10-month-old daughter, Bryn; and their dog, Cookie, a Lhasa apso mix. ROBIN FINN

UP WITH BABY We wake up with the baby at 7. I’ll make her brown-rice cereal with fruit, and we hang around in the living room together in our pajamas. I wear drawstring pants and a T-shirt, all cotton, nothing fancy. Sunday is my favorite day: we can just be lazy and we do absolutely no work. Well, I do work out a little on the elliptical or on developing my yoga.

WARDROBE Then I’ll take a shower and get dressed in something from my closet that actually feels like the real me — usually jeans and a cashmere sweater and maybe a hat. No dresses on Sundays; dresses are for television. If I’m just lounging around or doing yoga, I’m doing it in my pajamas.

GIRLS HANG OUT When Jason goes to church at St. Anthony’s, I stay home with the baby. We call it our mommy and me time. I give her a fun bath, and then we’ll pick an outfit for her. We do what we call a hold-back — we have names for everything — on her nap. She normally sleeps from 9 to 10, but I keep her up until Jason gets back with bagels.

IN-HOUSE BARISTA We have this great coffee machine, and Jason is the barista. He doesn’t drink coffee, but he’ll make me decaf cappuccino or hot chocolate. Then we all lie down and nap together.

WANDERING I hate having any kind of set plan. We’ll just walk up Hudson Street and find new places for brunch. Sometimes we end up in Little Italy. Having the baby has changed our routine a lot. Everything takes longer. And we want to be together on Sundays, so no more going to the gym for 90 minutes of yoga or working out with 20 minutes of travel each way. That would be selfish of me.

SHOP OR NOSH We might make a quick stop at the Container Store, or pick up a pizza, or stop at a bakery; Jason and I love the red velvet cake and carrot cake at Two Little Red Hens.

POSSIBLE NAIL STOP Sometimes we’ll go to Spa Belles for a mani-and-pedi but no polish. Bryn comes along and watches me get my eyebrows waxed.

GOLF AND FASHION SHOW We go back home and just relax. Jason likes to watch golf, so the baby will watch with him until her naptime, while I go into the bedroom with my computer and search around for nonsense on the Internet. Or I’ll edit my closet. I have way too many clothes, so I’ll try on things and then go and see what he likes and what he doesn’t. I absolutely get rid of anything he doesn’t like. He has very good taste, though maybe not in women.

CHEF’S SURPRISE We might order in, and we probably have pizza around for Jason to nibble on. If I cook, my premise is to use what I have. Last Sunday, I made a spinach-and-turkey loaf. Jason is a meat kind of guy, so I keep ground turkey in the freezer. I have romaine, arugula, brown rice, whole-wheat pasta and cheeses around, so I can always whip something up. Bryn sits in her highchair and we have dinner together. Dessert is cake or else sundaes made with Cherry Garcia ice cream and sprinkles.

BATHTIME I take a bath with Bryn every night around 7; we call it “batheez.” Jason and I put her down to sleep about 7:30. Then we’ll watch a movie at home; we just saw “The Social Network.” We don’t really follow any TV shows on Sunday nights.

'30 Rock' Does 'The Real Housewives'

BuddyTV.com:
Did you watch the "Queen of Jordan" episode of 30 Rock? It's a must for Real Housewives fans, as the episode is filmed and edited as Queen of Jordan, Tracy Jordan's wife's series on Bravo. The episode was fun, even for those who aren't very familiar with the Housewives, but there were lots of hidden treats for those of us who have watched and enjoyed The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Atlanta, and New York City.

The episode had electronic-cigarette-smoking psychics, table flipping, and a strip aerobics studio. Liz Lemon uses the infamous Caroline Manzo simile, "thick as thieves," and Angie Jordan is releasing a single ("My Single is Dropping"). Oh, and that strip aerobics studio belongs to "Randi" former Delaware call girl, who is a lot like Danielle, and the single release party is being planned by D'Fwan, who is definitely Dwight.

Other references include Randi and D'Fwan's argument over whether or not Randi "said it" in Atlantic City, Jenna's alcohol problem, Liz Lemon yelling, "let me talk, I am talking, will you let me talk for once?" and lots and lots of wine throwing. It's a brilliant and loving homage and you can watch the whole episode here. I am so glad they did this episode!

Star Jones And NeNe Leakes Call A Truce -- Off Camera

RadarOnline.com:
Celebrity Apprentice stars NeNe Leakes and Star Jones are trying to mend their stormy relationship when the cameras are not rolling on the popular NBC reality show, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

The battling divas previously came to physical blows on Donald Trump’s show which has already axed David Cassidy and Lisa Rinna.

But the two women have called a tentative truce and are trying to get along better after they both realized things were in danger of getting out of hand.

A source told RadarOnline.com: “Both NeNe and Star are trying to get along better off set – it was really only when the show started taping that their competitiveness kicked-in.

“NeNe felt slighted by Star who she thought was not showing her enough respect – while Star believed that NeNe was all show and no substance.

“They are both head strong women and NeNe believed Star was trying to boss the other contestants around and on top of that they were feuding over hair, wardrobe and make-up too.

“But they are trying to be more accepting of their differences now although producers want to ramp-up their rivalry when the cameras are rolling because they believe it could translate to high ratings.”

Lea Black On KTLA Morning Show

Kim & Kyle Richards Reunite

Starmagazine.com:
When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wrapped up their debut season sister Kim and Kyle Richards were feuding in a limo. Now the reality stars are breaking bread at a family dinner!

Kim and Kyle reunited publicly for the first time since the show ended on Wednesday at Frida Mexican restaurant in Beverly Hills. Their sister, Kathy Hilton, was also on hand, as was their niece, Paris Hilton.

During the season finale of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle tearfully screamed at her obviously drunk sister, Kim, "You're an alcoholic and a liar, and you’re sick! That’s right, I said it, and everybody knows it.”

As Star reported in our Feb. 7 issue, Kim checked into a rehab center days later but left after only a week, opting for outpatient treatment and staying out of the spotlight.
Count me in as still being shocked that Kim Richards is coming back to RHOBH.

Hot Video: If This Season Is Boring, No One Told the Real Housewives of New York City

Part 2

EOnline.com:
Worried that this season of Real Housewives of New York City won't be as juicy as years past? Consider your fears allayed, young Housewives fan, because Jill Zarin herself says, "It's the best season. By far, the best season we've ever done."

We talked to all the NYC Housewives about what's to come when the new episodes premiere, and they promise it's going to be a big year for everybody in the cast—but especially possibly engaged LuAnn de Lesseps, who says, "[I'm] working on my next song during the season…and my romance...I feel really lucky, and it's really going in a great direction."

Jump inside to see what else the "brunettes" of the Big Apple told us of life after Bethenny Frankel (Kelly Bensimon says, "I don't think any of us talk to her anymore"), plus, which one of the blondes (Alex McCord, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan) had a breakdown and "started crying hysterically"?
"Best season by far"...yeah, right.

HerExchange Interviews Lynda Erkiletian

HerExchange.com:
If you’ve spent any time following HerExchange, you know by now that I’m a big fan of Bravo’s hit series, The Real Housewives. So naturally, as I prepared for my interview with the star of The Real Housewives of D.C., Lynda Erkiletian, I had a lot of excitement and even a few “reality” preconceived notions. Maybe you do too, but wait – whatever you thought – you have no idea!

You don’t have to look past Lynda’s bio to realize that this mother of four is a woman unlike any other; a woman that didn’t need reality TV to make her a star.

When Lynda was 18 years old, she began touring with R&B songstress, Candi Staton, as a back-up singer; that was just the beginning! Next up, Lynda mastered make-up and hair artistry before moving on to launch her own modeling and stylist agency in the often-fashionably-challenged market of Washington, D.C. With Lynda’s leadership and keen business sense, she’s put D.C. on the map with T-H-E Artists Agency.

You thought you had her figured out – ha! Come along, you’ll love the fashionable ride; meet Lynda.

SG: Lynda, you’ve certainly taken your own path – we just love that! Did you know early on that being an entrepreneur was your destiny?

LE: I didn’t feel like I had a choice because I was dyslexic. I believe everything in life is guiding you if you listen, so rather than being the victim of ‘I can’t spell’, or ‘I have difficulty with this,’ I asked, “OK, what am I good at? What can I do?” I’ve always been a dreamer; I just had to expand those dreams into something that was tangible.

Not everything I’ve touched has been successful, it’s been a journey.

SG: On The Real Housewives of D.C., you were very clear that you are a ‘mom’ first. Did you create your business around your life, or fit life around business? Women struggle to find balance…

LE: I would love to see women give up guilt! We’re people and we have our challenges, but being a working mother doesn’t have to be! I grew up in an environment where my mother was a nurse, she had 6 children, and still prepared all the meals and was head of the house. I feel that what I’ve done as a mom and in business is no different than the women before me.

This is funny – I had a very embarrassing ‘working mom’ moment after my first child, Aaron, was born. I was working as a make-up artist and I was hired to do Llyod Bridges’ make-up; I had not done any work since having Aaron and I was still nursing. Mom’s will relate to this, after you have your baby and you’re breast feeding, even when you think about your baby, especially your first couple of times away, you literally start producing milk. It happened to me right in the middle of doing make-up! I literally had to go to the ladies room and use the hand drier to dry out my dress – it was so embarrassing! I thought, welcome to being a mom who’s trying to do it all!

When I had my other children, I had T-H-E and when you came to my office you would see a baby on my lap or playing in my office. People say that they have to compartmentalize as a mom, and you do, but where you can include your family as a part of your working world you must.

Definitely in my community outreach I’ve involved my children. It’s important that they see a world beyond fashion and beauty and understand the impact T-H-E Agency has on the D.C. community.

Tamra Barney Shows Off Her Simon-Free, Single Girl Crib

Marysol Patton: First Look At Her Aspen Wedding

Lifeandstylemag.com:
Laid-back Marysol Patton of The Real Housewives of Miami was anything but calm before saying "I do" to Philippe Pautesta-Herder in Aspen, Colorado, and Life & Style has the exclusive photos. "I was freaking out!" Marysol, 44, tells Life & Style about planning the couple'selopement in only five days. "But on our wedding day, a sense of peace came over me."

The PR maven and her 34-year-old French-born husband opted for an intimate affair, sharing their plans with family and close friends only just before taking off.

The wedding took place on March 25, 2010; Marysol had to wait until Housewives premiered before sharing the pictures with Life & Style. "We rushed so we wouldn't miss the snow," Marysol says of her second marriage (Philippe's first). "I always wanted a winter wedding!"

Sheree Whitfield Does Lunch With Omarosa In Beverly Hills

Sad to see what it takes for Sheree to make news these days:
Omarosa’s side-eye of epic proportions is more than appropriate for this occasion. The reality star turned assistant pastor (hide your kids, hide your tithes) hooked up with fresh faced ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ cast member Sheree Whitfield and a host of other friends for lunch at The Ivy in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

The two were spotted laughing it up like old friends as they sipped on mimosas (Jesus Juice I hope) at the well known paparazzi hang out. Two whores for propaganda is always better than one, ya’ll.

Faye Resnick Is Being “Seriously Considered” As A New RHOBH Cast Member

Ugh, God I hope not. And really if all the RHOBH women are coming back anyway, as been reported, why the need to add a tramp whose only claim to fame was exploiting the O.J. Simpson trial? Unless of course, as long suspected, Kyle's the one who pulls the strings on RHOBH:
While it has yet to be made official, Faye has met with producers about becoming a season two regular

Faye Resnick stirred up drama with Camille Grammer last season on Real Housewives of Bevely Hills when she joined Kyle Richards at Camille’s dinner party. Now, a source tells HollywoodLife.com that she has spoken with producers about joining the new season as an official housewife!

“Faye has met with producers and there is a lot of interest from the show’s fans to have her on,” says a source close to the show. “I don’t have word yet on whether she has officially signed on, but I do know that she was being seriously considered.”

Faye is known for testifying against O.J. Simpson in his trial, she was close friends with Nicole Brown. In episode 9 of the first season of RHOBH, Camille called Faye out for using her friend’s murder for fame. A catfight involving Kyle ensued.

Last night, Faye joined Housewives Taylor Armstrong and Kyle for dinner at BOA steakhouse in West Hollywood. Could it have been a celebration dinner?

A spokesperson for Bravo refused to comment on whether Faye was signing on, saying, “We haven’t announced anything regarding season two yet.”

Gov. Christie Suspends Albert Manzo from Water Commission

MyFoxNY.com:
Gov. Chris Christie has suspended two members of the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission, including Albert Manzo, the husband of Caroline Manzo, of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."

Christie said that Manzo listed a brownstone catering hall he owns in Paterson as his residence, whereas he and his family actually live in Franklin Lakes.

"If any of you watch or know about 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' you know where he lives," Christie said.

According to a report by the Record posted on NorthJersey.com , Manzo told officials during his nomination that he lived at the brownstone and didn't disclose that he owned the house in Franklin Lakes.

The governor also suspended Michael T. Cricco. Christie is asking the two to resign from the commission or face disciplinary action.

Michael Lohan Swaps Spit with Kim Granatell

TMZ.com:
Michael Lohan sucked the life out of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" wannabe Kim G. with his tongue at a bar in the Garden State on Wednesday.

Are they fur real?
Now that's just gross!

Joe Giudice and NJ Housewives Cast Members Detained By Police Overseas After Bar Fight

RadarOnline.com:
From New Jersey to the Dominican Republic, Real Housewives of New Jersey house hubby Joe Giudice just can’t escape trouble with the law.

RadarOnline.com has obtained exclusive new details about who was involved in the bar fight -- and hauled away by police -- while the cast was on vacation late last month for the upcoming season of the hit Bravo show.

A late night bar brawl led to Teresa Giudice’s burly hubby being detained by police along with Caroline Manzo’s sons Albert Jr. (known on the show as Albie) and Christopher, and their roommate Gregory Bennett.

According to our source, all the cast members partied at their hotel bar at about 1 am on February 23 at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, including Caroline and her husband Albert, Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, Teresa and Joe Giudice, newcomers Kathy and Richy Wakile, Joey and Melissa Gorga, the Manzo children (Chris, Albie, and Lauren) and roommate Gregory Bennett.

According to police, they don’t know who started the fight, but our source says that after the New Jersey clan popped open a bottle of champagne which accidentally sprayed on surrounding patrons, it led to the bar brawl with other male patrons.

“Everyone was involved. It became a massive scene,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

But it turned physical with about eight people involved, said police when contacted by RadarOnline.com, including Joe, Albie, Christopher and Gregory, who were defending the women.

“Usually when there’s a fight we take one guy, but this time we took everybody,” the police representative said.

According to our source, Joe was “beating on the guy” and struck a male patron with glass.

Police said the patrons injured made the complaint to police.
Any wonder why the new season of RHONJ is probably the most anticipated 'Housewoves' show of them all? Who needs Dina and Danielle when you got this kind of drama going on.

Lea Black Blasts Sarah Palin, Promotes Pig-Flipping

EOnline.com:
What do pig-flipping and politics have in common?

A Real Houswife, of course!

Wanna know what we're talking about? Read on to find out...

The Real Housewives of Miami star Lea Black is trying to prove that the Bravo Housewives are good for more than just cocktails and catfights by getting political in a self-penned opinion piece posted this morning on the Huffington Post. Who's she targeting? Duh, Sarah Palin!

"Sarah Palin is the sideshow in the circus that everyone wants to watch, but that most people don't take seriously," Black told us when we chatted with her earlier today. "The Republican Party has become a circus and she's the sideshow act that everyone likes to laugh at, not with."

Black also thinks the Sarah Palin's Alaska star should stick to reality TV and stay out of politics, adding, "I think she makes for great entertainment, but I don't think she can be taken seriously for leading a country."

Exclusive: The Truth Behind Tamra Barney's Ex And Her Husband, Simon

Rumorfix.com:
Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Barney is madly in love with her boyfriend Eddie Judge, but she wants to make it clear that she did not cheat on her husband with him.

"The biggest rumor that’s going on about me right now is that I ran off with my husband’s best friend," Tamra tells RumorFix exclusively. "It was started by my [ex]-husband [Simon] to make me look bad ... it’s a bad one, it’s a horrible one."

Tamra set the record straight on the rumor, telling us, "It’s not true at all, no." She continues, "Actually, the boyfriend that I have, and you’ll see him on season 6, is a very nice guy. He runs a law firm, very respectable and he was a mutual friend of mine, my business partner in real estate, and Simon had met him once or twice, as I did too, but they never were friends"

Andy Cohen Dishes on ‘Real Housewives’: Miami Is the Last Stop on the Train

OKmagazine.com:
When Bravo launched the Real Housewives of Miami, it seemed like there was hope for a franchise in every city. However, Bravo’s Andy Cohen exclusively tells OK! that Miami is the last stop for the Housewives train. Last night, OK! talked to the host with the most as he helped celebrate MCC Theater’s 25th Anniversary in NYC. Andy sounded off on some of the most controversial housewives in seasons past and he even told OK! which franchise he would love to see Whitney Houston star in!

When asked about which city he would look to next to find more housewives, he told OK!, “I really feel like we’re done.” So is Miami the last stop on the Housewives train? Andy answered, “Yeah.”

But if any housewife thinks this is her chance to star in a spin-off series like Bethenny Frankel, she should think again. Andy explained of the other housewives, “I think they’re all good where they are.”
Hmmm....surprised that Andy would say that Miami is the last stop considering how successful the franchise still is (and growing). I'd heard and read about San Francisco and Dallas being the next stops, but always thought they needed to go midwest.

Boston Herald Interviews Bethenny Frankel

BostonHerald.com:
When it comes to reality TV, many of its stars can turn their “character” off and on like a light switch — and Bethenny Frankel is no different. But shouldn’t one be “on” for a chat with the press?

Frankel, a refugee from “The Real Housewives of New York” and now the star of “Bethenny Ever After,” wasn’t cracking one-liners when we interviewed her prior to her show in Worcester the other night.

Currently in the second season of her Bravo reality show, Frankel — a witty, brutally honest person on TV with her fun repartee and heart-to-heart convos with her hubby and therapist — wasn’t the same when we tried to engage her about the two years she spent at Boston University before transferring to NYU.

“I was a waitress at The Paradise,” Frankel told the Track.

Ooooooookay.

But before long, she found herself fascinated by the food industry.

“I was engaged and went to culinary school for something to do,” said Bethenny. “I never had a grand plan.”

Now married to Jason Hoppy and mom to baby daughter Bryn, the reality TV star says she is happiest in the present day. If she could go back in time and give advice to herself at age 25, Bethenny said, “Really don’t be so stressed out. Youth is really wasted on the young. Have a skin-care plan.”

Ramona Singer Disses Bethenny Frankel....Again, But This She Might Have A Point

Yunno, from afar as many times as Ramona's dissed Bethenny in the past (on and off the show) one might say that like Kelly, she's jealous of her success. But the truth is I don't think Ramona has a jealous bone in her body, this is just another case of Ramona being Ramona:
Ramona Singer likes her pinot grigio.

The Real Housewives of New York City castmate has been known to throw back a few glasses during her so-called turtle time on the Bravo show.

“I drink every day,’’ admitted Singer, 54. “I even conceived my daughter over a bottle of Chateau Margaux.’’

So she did what any good businesswoman would do — she made her own.

“I put myself through college; I’ve always been entrepreneurial,’’ said Singer, who has her own jewelry line on HSN and is the owner of RMS Fashions. “I was the only housewife that already had an extremely successful career before joining.’’

Singer said she put out a wine partly for the fans, who kept asking what her favorite poison was.

“It’s a wine that can be drunk anytime, anywhere and with anything,’’ said Singer, who contacted Italy’s Opici Wines to produce the $14.99 vino, available at www.thewinebuyer.com.

“I learned a lot. There are three notes: the first, the middle, and the end,’’ she explained. “I wanted the end taste to have no bite. Now that’s what everyone says when they try mine. They go, ‘Oh my God, this is delicious.’ This is not the kind of wine you pair with food — you can drink this on its own.’’

You’ll no doubt spot a few bottles lying around when the show boots up again April 7.

“It’s gonna be a great season,’’ Singer said. “We all get a little deeper. There are highs and lows, laughing, crying.”

The ladies even take an exotic trip, a la Sex and the City, to Morocco: “We had a camel ride, we went to the markets, it was amazing.”

A new woman, spa owner Cindy Barshop, joins the cast because former Housewife Bethenny Frankel has her own spinoff, Ever After.

Singer is impressed by Frankel’s juggling act but is surprised at how she treats her in-laws.

“How could she not embrace her child’s grandparents?’’ she asked. “That was shocking to me.’’
Then too, having seen the episode Ramona's talking about where Jason and Bethenny meet with his parents and discuss Bethenny's desire to move to the west coast, Ramona might have a point.

Phaedra Parks Working On Book & Reality Shows

RadarOnline.com:
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's stand-out southern belle, Phaedra Parks tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that she’s putting TV stardom aside for new next endeavor.

Atlanta’s power entertainment attorney is penning her first book and pitching three new reality shows.

“It’s about being a southern belle and all the accoutrements that go with it,” Pheadra tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“It’s a modern day twist on etiquette and being a lady. And it’s alright for women to embrace their ladylike side.

“It’s high time that women start enjoying being ladies again. People have moved away from that.”

Phaedra, who’s never been shy about liking to dress over-the-top with her big hats and big makeup, wants to bring back traditions from days gone by like high tea, pretty frilly things, hats, gloves and “things that make you unique” – which she’ll highlight in the book, expected to hit shelves by the end of summer or early fall.

“I want to give my tips,” she says. “So many people over the years have asked me about how to have it all without losing yourself.”

Phaedra will also put on her producer’s hat to pitch three new “empowering” reality TV shows.
"3" reality shows?!? I guess if anyone can pull that off it'd be Phaedra.

NeNe Leakes on Fake People, Her Divorce and if She Will Do ‘RHOA’ Again

As usual it's never NeNe's fault for anything:
The dust has officially settled on the season preimere of Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” (Sunday night at 9 E/P on NBC) and the drama is slowly beginning to unfold. Though some often throw the term “Reality TV star” around like a gypsy curse, others embrace the 5 to 10 years of fame that becoming a reality show favorite or villain can net them.

On “Real Housewives of Atlanta” we thought NeNe Leakes enjoyed kicking over every sand castle and raining on every parade that she came across, but in a previously published interview with EURweb.com, Leakes says that isn’t so. She doesn’t enjoy being cast as the bad guy at all. She says that, in fact, her reasoning behind agreeing to appear on “Celebrity Apprentice” was altruistic and pure.

“They asked me to do the show last season and I said no,” NeNe told EURweb. “They asked me to do the show again this season and I said yes because I really thought it would be a good look for me to be on the show fighting for my charity. That’s what I thought. I wasn’t thinking anything else. I just thought that I would do the show and have something outside the ‘Housewives of Atlanta’. You get to see the business side of me which you really didn’t get a chance to see on ‘Real Housewives’. People probably thought that all I wanted to do was fight and get in people’s face on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’.”

Ummm, yes that’s exactly what people were thinking. All of America was under the impression that you were writing legislation for the hateration nation. Up to this point the interview with Ms. Leakes was actually going better than expected. She was open, honest and no subject seemed to be off limits as far as questions were concerned.

“This past year I’ve gone through something that was very life changing for me,” said Leakes. “It was already out there that my husband and I were having trouble and I filed for divorce. We are no longer living together, we are legally separated and we’re trying to work on things while we are separated. I’ve been with him for 14 years. It was the hardest time in my life. I know I didn’t show a lot of emotions on the ‘Housewives’ show, but it made me be something that I never thought I could be. I’ve always been able to control everything in my life and this is one thing I wasn’t able to control and it almost destroyed me.”

Lu Ann de Lesseps Lands Another Tv Role, Dishes On The New Housewives Season

Radar.com:
Reality TV's favorite (and only) royal has landed another TV acting gig, and only RadarOnline.com has the first on-set photos.

Real Housewives Of New York City star, Countess Luann de Lesseps is filming a guest star role in a new scripted show called Eden for USA Network playing - herself!

Luann is in high demand having only last month played her first scripted role as a high-brow art collector in NBC's popular crime drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

And this time around she feels right at home!

"I'm a socialite!" she said without revealing too much about the new show. "It's exciting! I'm making the move into scripted. I feel comfortable paying the socialite. I'm good at it!"

Meantime, the Countess dishes that the new season of her hit Bravo reality show will be a "rollercoaster."

Fans of the New York Housewives, which is returning for its fourth season on April 7, will see a "shift in friendships and new alliances," said Luann.

"I think it looks very exciting and there's a lot of drama going on. I think people are invested in our characters."

Last year it was Jill Zarin who butted heads with the leading ladies, and this year it looks like the new antagonist is Ramona Singer.

"Ramona lets a lot of things fall out of her mouth and I think she's going to have a harder time getting away with that," Luann confessed.

Sonja Morgan: Who's The New Hot Guy?

EOnline.com:
Sonja Morgan, you've done yourself good.

In the first two episodes of season four of The Real Housewives of New York City, Ms. Sonja is keeping company with a new (and slightly younger) man.

Who is he?

While Sonja refuses to call Brian Farrell her boyfriend, they're dating. (At least they are in the first two episodes).

Farrell is a hunky artist (think pro-surfer Kelly Slater) who grew up in Southampton, Long Island. According to his Facebook page, he was born in 1968 (that makes Sonja about five years his senior) and his childhood wasn't pretty. He writes that he had an alcoholic and physically abusive father.

He also says that his art career flourished at first, but went downhill during a battle with severe depression that left him hospitalized after several suicide attempts.

Fortunately, with the right treatment, he bounced back. "Today, I am no longer drinking or take any medications," he writes on his Facebook page. "I enjoy a healthy life of yoga, surfing, sleep and diet."

So how the heck did he and Sonja hook up? Through mutual friends. "We have all these hedge-fund banker friends together," Sonja explains in the season premiere (airing April 7). "I get my financing from them and they buy his paintings."

The sparks apparently flew when Brian helped Sonja hang some artwork. "He comes in these tight white T-shirts with the jeans hanging low," Sonja gushes during a double date with Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and her French beau Jacques Azoulay.

No word if Sonja and Brian are even still together, but no matter. From the looks of it, the new season is going to be just as full cups of crazy as the last season. Wait, just wait, until you see Sonja and Alex McCord go at it. It's pure reality show ridiculousness—and we love it!
